I have been an Austin resident for over 40 years and they are the best I have ever used.Feb 15, 2020ACA Appliance & A/C, LLC's reply
This says a lot. Thank you for choosing us.
If you are in need of Air Condition or Appliance service: HANDS-DOWN - ACA is your ticket. They are FANTASTIC!!! We needed to have our A/C serviced and called someone. They came out and put the wrong Freon. The AC was not working. We called ACA Appliance & A/C. Chad came out, diagnosed the issue, asked what color tank was used. When I told him, he said it was the wrong freon. He then coached me on what to look for and what to ask for. I called the other guys back and they admitted to the error and replaced the freon; at no-cost. That was about 12 years ago. Chad has serviced our AC since then. His crew is extremely knowledgeable, intelligent, compassionate, and trustworthy. Any questions we’ve had, they’ve answered and explain the how-comes and whys. Chad and his very professional staff have made any AC situation a more pleasant experience!! I HIGHLY recommend ACA!! If you need service on AC issues, again: HANDS-DOWN - ACA is your ticket. They are FANTASTIC!!!Feb 17, 2020ACA Appliance & A/C, LLC's reply

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Service call fee is $75 and always waived with repair, during normal business hours. An additional charge may apply for After hours and Holiday emergency A/C & Heating service. Work is never completed without your approval. We offer free bids on replacements of HVAC equipment.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Customer contacts the dispatch office and works out a day for our technician to come out for an initial diagnosis. Unfortunately due to the nature or our work, we are unable to provide exact times for appointments as we never know how long it will take the technician to diagnose & repair the unit he is looking at. For this reason, we provide a courtesy call 1st thing in the morning with your expected time of date (morning, mid-day, afternoon). We then call you with at least a 30 minute, or longer if needed, notice before the technician is expected to arrive at your house so you 1) do not have to stay home all day, and 2) can meet us if you are not home. We understand that just as our technicians are at work when they arrive to your house, you too have to work and have other responsibilities so we not want to inconvenience you any more than you already are by having to reach out to us for your unexpected issue.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work? The owner has more than 25 years experience in the HVAC & Appliance repair fields. Through the years he has taken many courses to obtain his EPA certification, NATE certification and HVAC Contractors License. Every year the state of Texas requires him to re-certify which includes an 8 hr refresher/new policies course. Our lead HVAC technician has 18 years experience, and has his EPA certification Our lead Appliance technician has 13 years experience, and has his EPA certification. And we have a general all-around helper/apprentice that has been with us for 3+ years. In Texas, the technicians can work under the owner's contractor license.
