FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It's pretty simple and straight forward. Pro Edge's pricing is on a tiered system based on lawn size and county appraisal in terms of square footage for lawn care needs. Leaf clean-up, removal services, gutter cleaning, and other like jobs are matched with national and area-specific averages and are very competitive compared to those average listed charges.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, when engaging a client for the first time, I like to send an initial quote. Once that quote has been viewed by the client, I send a follow up message as soon as possible to be proactive in addressing the client's needs. After initial contact (usually by phone call), I set up a face-to-face meeting to go more in-depth with the client about their specific wants and needs and to be able to more accurately quote the job to be done based on on-site surveying of everything the client wants done as we walk the property while also taking notes and ensuring I understand everything the client wants done and any special requests or instructions to follow. I then draw up a finalized quote estimate and if the client is satisfied with that and agrees to have Pro Edge perform the work, we move forward with setting up service at a date and time that is most convenient for the client's schedule and needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am pursuing my Horticulture degree from Texas A&M University with a minor in Business Management and have about 1 1/2 years left; as well as an Associate's Degree in Turfgrass Management from Penn State University. I plan on pursing my Master's in Turfgrass and Soil Science from The University of Georgia. In addition to those educational endeavors, I constantly research industry content, meet with other pros and industry leaders, subscribe to blogs and websites designed to bring the latest in lawn care techniques and styles as well as watch YouTube videos and attend industry workshops.
