Jennifer was awesome! We had a simple ceremony at Chapel Dulcinea, and then lunch (rather than a formal reception) at a nearby winery, and Jennifer's friendly, low-key style was a perfect fit for a our day. We did not require the extensive photographer services of a couple with a larger, more formal wedding, and she created a simple package that was perfect for our needs, and affordable! Jennifer was easy to work with, and was always quick to respond and communicate via email (my preferred form of communication). She was always present but unobtrusive during the most intimate moments of the day, and calmly herded us through the obligatory series of "family pics" that can be so exhausting. She even stayed a bit late to join us for dinner, and captured a couple of very special sunset silhouette pics, after she was technically "off the clock". The photos were quickly edited and processed, and made available online, and our disc set was easy to use. The final results were beautiful. We enjoyed both the informal, candid shots she captured, and the more "posed" shots of us as a couple were truly lovely (and would consider myself "awkward" in front of a camera). I would highly recommend Jennifer and Sweetleaf Photography...we had a "budget" wedding, but I don't regret a penny that we spend on photography expenses...especially after seeing the resulting photos. You won't be disappointed!

Jennifer photographed our wedding in May (2014), and she did such a fantastic job. I absolutely recommend her. Jennifer and her assistant were very thoughtful, professional, and took amazing photographs! We both really enjoyed working with her and she even kept us on point during the reception--we actually forgot about the toasts and cutting the cake, and she reminded us! Whew! I am so happy with the way our pictures turned out; she really captured the essence of our wedding day!

Everything about Sweetleaf Photography is absolutely amazing! Jenn, showed up super early and helped us get everything together for the big day. And she is so easy to work with! Our wedding pictures turned out to be the most perfect thing we've ever seen. Even though it rained and was not really pretty outside, she still managed to capture the best pictures. Because of how amazing our wedding pictures came out, I also used her for my graduation pictures as well. And I'm sure that she will be capturing other special moments in our lives! What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All of my photography packages include me as your photographer, your professionally edited Hi-Res images, online gallery for quick downloads, printing and sharing with friends and family.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always like to chat before booking a client, making sure we are a good fit for each other. If it all feels right I send over a contract and deposit form. We have a pre wedding consultation where we discuss all of the day of details, family portraits and timeline together to make sure we have a good working plan in place. The wedding day is over in a flash, but don't worry I got all of those important memories covered!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BFA in Fine Art Photography and am a member of the Wedding & Portrait Photographers International. I also mentor other aspiring photographers, anyone who has ever mentored knows that mentoring can teach you just as much as you're teaching.
