Introduction: Being female, sometimes homeowners feel more comfortable having me in their home, plus I have the "woman's eye", meaning that I am very detail oriented and make sure that myself and my helpers are neat during the process and we clean up after ourselves. I listen well to the needs of the homeowner. I, along w/my employees, have the skills and knowledge to provide excellent service and results for the work agreed upon.

The crew from Make It Ready 512 rebuilt our privacy fence, painted our storage shed and refinished the front door. Excellent work and communication during the projects, and very competitive pricing! Highly recommended!

Tonia and the crew at Make It Ready 512 are amazing! Their abilities to transform a house or project into the finished results not only show their professionalism, but the the attitudes in which they do the job makes the entire process fun. Tonia is a joy to work with, no matter if the job is a simple paint job or a more extensive repair, and she always delivers high end quality work. I have worked with Tonia and her crew on a regular basis and always get the same pleasant results. I would recommend Make It Ready 512 for all your home and business repair needs!

Tonia was the best thing I found so far in our new move to Austin! She put together a very difficult desk, did it to perfection, and was one of the most pleasant people I have worked with in a long time. Highly recommend...she is on my resource list!

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I supported myself through college by being a painter. I became a counselor but, after many years of being one, I was ready for a change and opened this business. I love what I do, I'm extremely good at it, I enjoy working with people in this way and enjoy the personal rewards of providing excellent service and results.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

The most common work that we do is preparing high-end rental homes, for occupancy. We do all the necessary interior and exterior painting work, make any plumbing or electrical repairs that are needed, make sure that all appliances are working correctly, replace doors, window screens, ceiling fans and light fixtures as needed, do trim work, perform make ready cleaning services and an array of other tasks. We also answer and perform repair requests for tenants. It is not uncommon for tenants to call property managers to thank them for sending out our team!

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Be sure to check references and make sure they are legitimate and current. Make sure that there is a written and detailed and contract that is dated and signed by both of you. Pay attention to appearance of the contractor, what they promise to do and trust your instincts to know whether or not they are qualified.
