Butch has amazing knowledge of dogs and their instincts. He has 30,000 positive reviews of his YouTube channel on how to stop a dog from jumping - with no negative reviews, which is even more incredible. If you need help with your dog - Butch is your man!

Most kind words Leslie, and thank you for letting me know Thumbtack had a review section, never knew this existed, my apologies to everyone who ever wrote a review I did not know about. One thing though that should read 30,000 positive views not re-views But thanks again looked real good. Keep me posted on your progress. Butch Cappel Watch on YouTube "Cappel canine"

I have so much to say about Murray’s time with Butch and the Cappel Canine team. This entire review says why we very much recommend entrusting your baby with Cappel Canine. This was our first Australian Shepard dog and like most people over this 14 months we got him during quarantine. I have some basic understanding of training and we watched a lot of dog training shows on TV so we thought we had a good understanding. We played outside with him, walked him and as soon as our local dog park opened we took him there to socialize him. Murray is very intelligent and patient, when he wants to do something or doesn’t want to do something. We were starting to have some issues with other dogs and we realized that we are going to need help because this was far beyond what we could handle. We searched all over the internet, thumbtack, groups..etc. We both came across Cappel Canine and my husband watched the videos, read as much as could on Butch and the training the facility. One of the videos talked about walking the dog and connecting the leash to the collar and why he prefers that. Can I just say we have spend over a $100 trying to find and harness, lead or whatever else that would help Murray not pull. I had carpal tunnel surgery earlier this year and I hadn’t been able to really walk him on my own because he pulls. My husband said let try it. We tried it and just a few moments of adjustments Murray doesn’t really pull. I can walk my dog again, by myself. We called that day and spoke with Butch and he told us what the training would look like and set Murray’s 2week stay training. I didn’t know what it would be like in regards to actually leaving Murray there. Drop off day was busy and there seemed to be a lot of moving pieces which made me nervous but the staff was very friendly and welcomed us and Murray (even thought Murray wanted nothing to do them, yet). They asked us more questions about Murray, home life and what we wanted them to focus on. I had to take Murray to kennel which would be his new home for 2 weeks because he would let anyone take his leash. He would hide. Even though it was really hard for me to leave him (I have never been away from Murray since we got him) I’m glad I got to take him to the kennel because I saw how spacious it was us, it’s covered and it has a back space with a cot for a bed. During the two weeks Butch sent us videos of Murray during some of his training, I had a call with him which made me feel so much better. During our conversations he was so insightful about Murray and made observation and comments that we hadn’t even talked about. We we picked him up from “camp” Butch went through all of Murray’s training with us and we got to practice it. We were completely blown away on all the things thought during those two weeks. We should be receiving our video today with all training so we can continue the work Butch started. What was a bonus was the bond Murray formed with Butch. We can’t thank Butch and the entire Cappel Canine team enough.

Our dog came out of training with all the basics. Stan did a great job with her and was constantly sending us videos of her progress. He was great with her while still providing the necessary discipline.

From the moment I sent an inquiry to K9 Kountry through Thumbtack, I was instantly contacted by the owner, Butch. He was friendly, professional and very informative. He even sent me videos of the training they provided! He had availability for our dog the following week & they took great care of our girl, Chesney. I was even able to call in & check on her! The price was very affordable and they provided her with exceptional training. Upon completion of the obedience course, she was able to sit, front, and heel without any hesitation. We were even given her own personalized training video and did a short handler's course together. I can't thank Butch, Stan & Carie enough for taking such great care of our sweet girl & sending her back better than the way we left her! We recommend K9 Kountry to anyone in need of dog training.

We dropped our dog, Benji, off Sunday afternoon. My main concern was Benji's aggressiveness toward other dogs. Butch, the owner of Cappel Canine, accessed Benji and agreed to work with him. BY WEDNESDAY, 3-4 days later, Butch called and said Benji was ready to go!! I decided to keep Benji "in Bootcamp" for the duration of the week just to be sure the correction of his aggressive behavior was reinforced. By the time we picked Benji up, he was so excited to see us (and ready to get home to his own environment). Butch personally showed me how to walk Benji and even put him in a situation of two new dogs to be trained for aggression. Those two dogs were who Benji USED to be. In lieu of Benji's past behavior, he actually walked past the aggressive dogs without confrontation!!!! WHOA!! WHAT?? BENJI BEHAVING????? Today, I took Benji out for his first walk in our neighborhood. The neighborhood dogs barked aggressively at Benji as we walked, but he kept his stance and did not react as he had in the past!! What a relief!! We will keep practicing each day. I am so impressed with Butch's training!! He's a great guy who understands dogs very well and they truly respond to him. I can't say enough good about Cappel Canine, Butch and his team. We left with a DVD showing how Butch worked Benji with his training and Butch's open door to come back if we ever have issues with Benji again! I am so happy I found Butch and his team! Thanks you guys for training our Benji to be exactly what we were looking for!! I can't say enough good words for the quality of work you do!

Barbara, I cannot even begin to tell you how grateful I am for those kind words, and I will repeat, Benji is a really good dog, just needed a little guidance, and I am very proud you chose me to supply that guidance
