We are close to completion with our new Optical Shop at Berry Stewart Eye Center and feel that Dirk and Steve have gone over and beyond their means to satisfy every detail to perfection. They both have amazing professionalism, responsiveness, punctuality and have had complete patience with modifications and give amazing alternative solutions. The owner, Dirk is WONDERFUL to work with. He first met me at my house on time with a written estimate. Even when I kept adding things for his crew to do, he kept telling me "No Problem". I had recently lost my husband and was wanting someone I could trust and he is just that kind of a person. I would hire him again in a heartbeat! I feel I have made a friend when I met him. You will not be disappointed. I know that I hired the right guy.

I would highly recommend Dirk and Steve to anyone. My mother has used them for years and we recently extended our back patio and added a pergola. Dirk and Steve exceeded our expections when it was complete and we couldn’t have been happier. Dirk and Steve even made recommendations that made our original ideas even better than what we had originally planned. We will not be using anyone else but Dirk and Steve in the future. Steve and Dirk always kept me informed with daily updates as to the progress of my renovation. They stayed close to the budget set. Each subcontractor who did work was professional and arrived at the times promised. The few times there was a problem, I only had to make 1 call and it was resolved. This company is amazing! I have known Dirk Elliot for more than 10 years and have enlisted his assistance on several projects. The work performed in every case was awsome. The cost reasonable. I mostly appreciated his honesty, that is so hard to find. The most recent project was replacing my back patio cover I love it. He will be my first call in the future on any work needed.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is normally based upon a free inspection of the scope of work requested. This is due to the wide range of variables which exist with most remodeling, repair, and restoration work.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I explain our free estimating process and schedule an inspection appointment. During the inspection I listen to the customer to discern what their needs are pertaining to their home improvement project. I then prepare an itemized estimate which I discuss with the customer upon receipt and address any questions or concerns.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in remodeling, restoration, and repair for over 35 years. In 2000 I became an authorized insurance contractor for Allstate, Liberty Mutual, and State Farm insurance companies. I have been a licensed property insurance adjuster for the last 15 years. I have been an Angie's List Super Service Award winner for the last three years.
