Eric was fantastic! He was able to fix our closet shelf in a timely manner and for a fair price. He was also extremely kind and professional. We will definitely be using him for our future projects 😊.

Handyman
Eric arrived on time with everything needed for the job and repaired my closet rod that was not installed properly and detached from the wall, as well as ganging 2 shelves in an hour. Excellent work and very reasonable price.

FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My basic service call is $60 + tax for up to one hour of labor. I will estimate hours for the job and quote the labor for job. Parts and materials are extra will be included in the estimate where possible. The original estimate may go up if the customer changes the scope of the job. If I complete the job in less time I'll charge less then the estimate down to the $60 minimum service call fee. I give 10% discount on the labor for senior citizens. For jobs requiring more than one visit, there is a $10 trip charge for each additional trip to the job. Jobs beyond 15 miles from my home in Caddo Mills has an extra mileage charge. I shop at Home Depot and Lowes and pay retail for the materials for the job. I simply pass those costs to the customer on the final invoice after the work is done.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? My quotes are a ballpark estimates based on the description of the request. If I don't have enough information, I try to find out exactly what needs to be done to give an accurate fixed quote over the phone or via email before I arrive. It is helpful is customers to provide pictures of the job they need done when contacting me so I can provide an accurate quote. After I arrive, if I discover that there is more work required to do the job, then I talk it over with the customer and explain what needs to be done and what the new estimate is before doing any work. I don't typically provide in-home estimates before being hired so I often request pictures of the items needed repair such as drywall holes, plumbing shutoff valves, toilet tank parts, etc.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Personal experience doing repairs around my home as well as for friends and family. I continually learn new ways of doing repairs by watching home improvement shows and YouTube Videos.
