Wayne was great! He responded quickly, supplied a great-quick itinerary, and showed up as promised. He was able to switch and improvise on the spot for a great wedding ceremony. We were without an officient 2 days before our wedding and they SAVED us. THANKYOU so much to Precious Ceremonies! Awesome.Apr 1, 2019Verified
We originally had a relative performing the service until some issues about how it was going to go came up between him and my wife on the day before the wedding. After a quick search we found our guy. He responded promptly and everything was wrapped up and set after a 5 minute phone call. The service was great and everyone enjoyed it. He saved the day.Apr 14, 2019Verified
He made things really simple. Very personable. Would recommend him to anyoneMar 29, 2019Verified
He was 10 mins late to the ceremony, delaying everything. A week before, he asked if we wanted three prayers or the Lord's Prayer in the ceremony. We told him we wanted none of the prayers since we were not religious. Even when we spoke to him and told him, "WE DO NOT WANT ANYTHING RELIGIOUS", he still put prayers into our wedding, which made it uncomfortable for us as the bride and groom.Jan 20, 2014VerifiedPrecious Ceremonies's reply
I accept the above analysis, but to be fair I was not invited to the rehearsal, I was led to believe the ceremony was going to be less than 50 and it was closer to 125, I performed the solemnization even though you were already married as a favor and discounted my fee. The ceremony had options, but there was no religious dogma, only good will and happiness. Just so you know, your grandparents and guests gave praise to the ceremony. Be that as it may, you are correct in your analysis, and I will take it as a check point to ensure more attention is given to a $125 ceremony.
We hired Wayne Echelmeyer as an officiant for our wedding ceremony. The wedding was small and lasted just under an hour and a half. Wayne's attention to the details we gave him about our wants for our day was impeccable. From the moment we met him we felt at ease and secure that he was listening to us, to ensure our needs were met. He exceeded our expectations and the bar was set rather high. We would suggest contacting Wayne if you need an officiant, you will not be disappointed.Jan 6, 2014Verified
