I understand that one shape is not for all and help students find their inner guru to release the daily effects of stress and tension in accordance with their individual needs. I’ve been taking group yoga classes for over 10 years and have been taught by Jamie for the last 3-4 years. I’ve taken a variety of classes taught by Jamie including: gentle, restorative, Hatha flow, and Yoga Nidra. Jamie is always attentive and patient with everyone in class and offers modifications so anyone can do the poses. Jamie has a great understanding of yoga and its effect on the mind and body. Jamie has taught me several varieties of breath work that I’ve never tried before. I always feel great after attending a class taught by Jamie, I especially enjoy her L-U-V series of poses. I met Jamie in March 2013 at my first yoga class. I have asthma and I'm over weight so I was nervous about doing the poses. Jamie helped with alternative poses. I still take classes from Jamie and feel "revived" after her class. Her breathing technics has also helped with my asthma. Jamie is always in tune with the people in her classes and helps with alternate poses which is a big plus for people new to yoga. Her caring spirit encourages you return to her classes. For the stressed office worker, her yoga nidra and restorative classes are excellent!
