Working with Ken was a great experience. He was very willing and capable regarding all of the projects around my new home. The value was great as he was effective and completed the work to a high degree of quality. I would absolutely recommend Ken to any others looking for handyman work to complete various home projects. And I will certainly call upon Ken should I need more work done too!Aug 29, 2019Verified
Drywall Repair and Texturing
Ken did great work, showed up when he said he would, cleaned everything up and all at a fair price. Ken repaired a huge hole in my garage ceiling after it collapsed due to an overflowing water heater. He also shored up the joist to make sure it was extra safe. He reset and fixed the toilet and redid the caulk around the tub. I couldn’t be happier with his work. Plus, he’s a nice guy and I felt comfortable having him in my home. I highly recommend Ken for any handyman job!Oct 18, 2019Verified

Ken helped me frame out the top of 2 closets, sheetrock them, and add ventilation for airflow. Ken was an excellent communicator throughout the process, and was flexible with some unforseen bumps in the road that came along.Jul 25, 2019Verified
Ken was very responsive to my requests. He did an outstanding job in painting baseboards, walls, and removing and installing tile in my kitchen area. He is very professional with a very high degree of work ethics and integrity. I highly recommend Ken for any type of work in the home. I would hire again!!Jul 5, 2019Ken DO Moore , Home improvement services's reply

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My hourly rate is a guide line but i often deviate from it depending on the work and level of expertise required. A day could be up to 10 hrs , I'm not going to quit for the day if i can wrap it up in another hr or 2. I generally give discounts on long term projects of a week or more. I usually will lower my rate during less involved or easier areas of a project. If I'm asked to change a cpl bulbs and/ or change batteries in a smoke detector, or other random simple tasks while I'm there I'm not going to charge at the same rate as setting tile or installing baseboard.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Depending on the job, for larger projects I want to meet and get to know you. Say you need a tile job done, let's figure out what you want the materials, colors, designs, what do you want the finish product to look like. Then let's figure out the time line, approx. completion time and when is the best time to start in the morning and when do you want your home back in the evening.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work? While I did spend my JR high and part of high school taking wood shop and mechanical drafting my professional experience comes from 28 years of on the job hands on training from professionals not only in plumbing but other professional tradesman involved in building a home.
