Unfortunately I have to give Mike at TSI a horrible review. He fixed my computer after running a diagnostic to find out I needed a new hard drive. It cost me $300 for a new hard drive and it took three days for him to fix while I was unable to work the whole time. Than told me when I picked it up he deleted my windows operating system and said I just needed to put the disc in and reinstall it. Umm... I don't even have a disc drive in my computer as it is brand new and my computer CAME with Windows already installed. He was like oh...He said he would try and get my unlock key from my old hard drive and after numerous calls, emails and text messages no response two weeks later. Very unprofessional to not even return my calls once he got paid. I work from home and use excel daily for all my projects. Needless to say I had to purchase a new windows operating system and now my computer cost over $400 dollars to fix and if I had known I would have used that money to buy a new one! I think If someone is going to delete a major program like that they should have called first or looked at the computer they were working on to see I Don't have a disc drive so obviously no disk and my computer has a sticker on it saying it came with Windows 8 installed on it. We received a request from Melissa and worked out a time around her schedule to repair the computer. Once we ran our diagnostic and found out that the hard drive had died and it would not even boot into Windows and could not even see the files on the computer. Knowing that it was a work computer and her computer required a special "Ulta Thin" hard drive we had a hard drive overnighted, at no addititional charge, so that we could get her up and running ASAP. We started a Data Recovery to get her business files back. We had success getting ALL of the files back, repaired the computer, arranged for her to pick it up an hour before we officially open for business. We did NOT delete any programs, as the programs had been damaged with the bad hard drive. We also installed Open Office so that she could work with Word and Excel files while see tired to find a key for her Office. We also did a deeper scan after she picked up the computer and where not able to find the key. There are certain things that we just plain cannot do, like be responsible for saving program key codes and we would NEVER try to install an illegal version of any software! I think there is confusion as Windows 8 is the Operating System, which was reinstalled on the computer. We do out best to satisfy every customer and beleive that we accomplished and went over and above in this case, but we cannot retrieve something that is not there.

Mike repaired my laptop with broken hinge that also had issues with its built in mouse and sticky shift key. He fused the broken hinge which now allows it to close correctly. No more sticky shift key and the mouse works again. Great job.Dec 19, 2015Verified

I am so glad I brought my computer to him and did not send it off with Best Buy as I probably would never had seen it again.
