Suzanne was definitely one of the best counselors I've ever had. Her office had a very comfortable environment and atmosphere, and Suzanne herself was open, understanding, non-judgmental--all those things you want in a counselor.

I first had the pleasure of working with Greg in 2010, when he was my counselor at a rehabilitation center in the West Indies. I found his guidance, compassion, challenging of my beliefs, and gift of intuition to be life-transforming for me. Although he has all the "classical training" and then some, he doesn't use the existing modalities and prevailing "wisdom" as a crutch--rather he relates with those he is helping in a completely customized manner in order to reach us where we are at in the moment. Since leaving rehab in 2010, Greg and I have remained in close contact and developed a special relationship -- one that has helped me to continue evolving as a man, above and beyond simply being sober. I recommend Greg without hesitation, and to anybody looking for transformative personal growth.

I feel that Ms. Martel is an excellent counselor. She was very patient with my teenager who had a big issue with trust. My daughter soon felt very safe with her. Ms. Martel is very experienced with many of the issues that young people are faced with now. In addition, she gave my daughter strategies in dealing with a chronic illness. I would highly recommend Ms. Martel to anyone looking for a counselor.

About

I offer a healing place for everyone. I am a licensed professional counselor who specializes in working with children and families. I am also certified to provide clinical supervision for LPC interns. I have over 20 years of experience working with children with special needs and offer parenting classes, as well as in-home parent coaching services. I utilize play therapy and the creative arts in my work with children, and I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy primarily in my work with teenagers and adults. Issues that I work mostly with include grief and loss, depression, anxiety, life transition issues, addictive issues, communication challenges, behavior disorders in children, and ADHD issues in children and adults. I believe everyone has the capacity for greatness, that life is often difficult and we can get distracted from our true path, and that given time and support, we can get back on track and realize our full potential and dreams.

Paul and I worked together to analyze my strengths and challenges focused upon items work related that were keeping me frustrated and unhappy at work. Of course, some were related to personal issues as well. Paul was easy to talk to, knowledgable about helping me identify habits I did to block myself, and was very good at helping me figure out and develop a plan to address those blocks. Working with Paul was very helpful for me moving forward successfully. I really appreciated his style and helpfulness. He was always making sure I was moving in a positive direction. I would highly recommend Paul as a counselor.

I definitely 'felt stuck' in life and was renewing my New Year's resolutions almost daily without accomplishing much. I knew I needed a coach more than a counselor. David is giving me purpose to act and provides me with a level of accountability which was lacking before. Being in my late forties, my coach has given me back my optimism to live life to its fullest in my own way without fear of being judged...a life without fear actually. David is getting me unstuck from my past which is tremendously liberating! I highly recommend Third Force Life Coaching.

About

I am a licensed professional counselor with over ten years of experience in working with individuals, especially women, families and groups. Some of the issues I commonly address include anxiety, depression, family-of-origin issues, stress-related illnesses, trauma, grief and loss, relationship issues, life transitions, and self-awareness and self-concept issues. I have experienced working in schools as well as with families and teens in residential treatment facilities. Some of the issues in which I have experienced were domestic-violence issues, alcohol and drug addiction, parenting, and blended families and divorce issues. I believe that healthy individuals and families seek counseling to remain healthy and to increase their overall satisfaction and contentment in their life. When people have the basics covered, then only do they really have the freedom to move higher on that hierarchy of needs to work on bettering relationships, self-awareness, self-confidence, and self-actualization. When you are ready to begin your own journey, I can help you find your path.

This was way beyond what I had hoped and wished for! Kelly was so tuned in to me. She helped connect the dots that I have struggled to connect. She presented reasons and ideas I had never imagined as as to how I landed where I did and why I made certain choices I made. She gave me tools to pave a better path for myself and the confidence I so badly needed to trust that I can and will get there. Kelly is a radiant beacon of light and a magical counselor. I have been seeing her weekly and growing in leaps and bounds in my life.

My wife and I saw Kathryn 2 years before and we are coming back to her now for a tune-up. The first time we saw her we were impressed by her insight and sensitivity to our problems. Initially I was very uncomfortable with the idea of counseling but Kathryn made me feel at ease and she was able to get to the root of our problems quickly. She was sensitive, respectful and empathetic and had a great deal of wisdom about relationships. She was also able to help us with our parenting skills. Even though we are not religious we chose a faith-based therapist believing she would be honest with us about our issues because we have been to counselors in the past who would not commit one way or the other and we felt as if it was a waste of our time. We have drifted apart since seeing Kathryn and we want to restore our relationship so we have decided to come back and see Kathryn. She was very respectful of our religious choices in the past and we trust she will be again. She did not make faith a factor in her work with us but used only the highest professional & ethical standards.
