FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I will be attending the annual NAPPS (National Association of Professional Pet Sitters) conference in January 2011 in New Orleans. At the convention there will be three days of classes and workshops. I also call in for at least one NAPPS conference call a month. These calls cover various subjects and are quite insightful.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always had a passion for animals. If I were not allergic to horses and cats (yes I still pet sit for cats) I would have been a vet. In college I studied Advertising and I feel this has helped me grow my business.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My most common jobs are dog walks and pet sits.
