Hired 2 bartenders, a DJ & 5 servers from these guys for my wedding. They greatly exceeded my exceeded my expectations. Everyone went above and beyond. And for the price they charged. Extremely affordable. I looked at other reputable companies, not on this website of course, and they all charged at least $20-40 more per hour. I knew this site is mainly a contractors/freelancers website, and I will say the other quotes were tempting to hire. But after talking to Chris I really felt he really cared about my event, and not just my money. His price was very close to the others, his staff were very punctual, professional, enjoyable to be around & he saved me around $300 with my liquor/mixer purchase! Actually, my wedding coordinator forgot to get the glasses ready for the toast, but the bartenders were already on it, they quickly grabbed all the glasses i bought and got them around right in time. DJ kept my guests dancing all night, did MC services, and did allot of requests. Servers got all the courses around to every guests got and fresh, and kept everyone's drink full. I had two very intricate cocktails & the bartenders made them amazingly. Bartenders even rationed the mixers all night so i wouldn't run out, and didn't open any bottles i didn't use. So i got about $200 back from liquor store i purchased at. I received 4 other quotes, and I could have received 10 more, but I'm very happy i chose this company. Literally can't think of anyone who would do better and I will always hire them for all my house parties and events I do. I have included some photographs our photographer took during the event
Leslie was a joy to work with. This was the first time I've had to set up an event with a catering service and she was a tremendous help in guiding me through the process. Everything was set up on time, the food was delicious, and my group was very appreciative of the service provided. Thank you, Leslie, for a job well done. Highly recommended- A+++ Karen, catered my event for over 60 guests flawlessly and beyond my expectations. My promotion ceremony was a success thanks to Karenâs hard work. She took my ideas and transformed them in to a superb event. The food presentation was beautiful and colorful, the food tasted scrumptious and the decoration was very attractive. She took the time to consider all the details (such as her selection of silverware, flatware, tables, linen etc) that cohesively brought the entire event together. All of my guests were impressed and loved the catering. She handled it all for me. I was truly impressed with her abilities and would definitely recommend her to my friends and family.
Barbara is amazing!!! I should start by saying that I took on most of the wedding planning on my own. Due in part to geographic distance, I knew I'd be planning and organizing most of the event on my own--and because I love to DIY, I started the process off feeling confident that I could manage everything independently. It took me months to realize that, in fact, having help--particularly from a professional who has first-hand experience--is a tremendous asset. Barbara impressed me from our very first conversation with her warmth and organization and willingness to (literally) meet me and learn about the vision my fiance and I had for our wedding. As our day-of-coordinator, she lifted a huge burden from myself and helped me organize friends and family as we all came together to celebrate. I only wish I had found Barbara sooner--I would have happily hired her to help me plan the event from the start!
Communication was good and price was competitive. The only issue was the caterers were late to the event! I had to have guests help set up tables and chairs.
I helped Amanda plan our college Monte Carlo party and to this day it's one of the best events I've attended. She's an extremely talented planner with great vision!
Aaron provided drop off catering for our Fall Harvest meal. He communicated with us about menu options and dietary restrictions. He was prompt with responses and on site at the event. He was also well prepared and timely on the day of and our guests greatly enjoyed the meal. Everything was tasty and looked great!

They lead me through the entire process, (and what a process a night like that is), with grace and ease. After doing my research and speaking with a handful of different planners, a friend of the family who had also had an excellent experience with her, referred me to Blue Boot Events. I met with Amberley and purchased her A-Z package for a very reasonable price. Beaux and The Velvet Cartel were great to work with. My company was organizing a party for the ATX Startup Crawl and wanted to have a fun, interactive photo booth for our 400+ guests. We reached out to Beaux the week right before our event, and he was able to hook us up with the social media booth – which could take photos and gifs. The photo booth was a hit at the party, and everyone loved it. Beaux was very communicative and kept checking in with me during the event to make sure that everything was running smoothly. We would definitely work with him and The Velvet Cartel again in the future.
I honestly don't know what I would have done without Cillia with Marion Matrimony Events. She went above and beyond all of my expectations. She helped with everything from hair/makeup, flower arrangements, food for the bridal party while getting ready, to setting everything up the day of. I couldn't be happier with the service we received. It is clear she truly cares and as I heard her say "she loves love" and it truly showed.
Michelle exceeded all of our expectations as far as her responsiveness, creativity and professionalism in planning our wedding. She is extremely friendly and truly cares about what she does. She went far beyond to make our day special and free of stress. She even helped us tremendously with our rehearsal dinner and to find ways to make the trip memorable to the many guests that we had attend from out of town. Lauren was a miracle worker and made our wedding day phenomenal. You should absolutely hire her for your wedding planning and coordinating needs. We originally hired “the best” local wedding planner who was highly recommended by the venue for our wedding last October. After two meetings with the original planner, it became apparent to us that she was disorganized, tardy to meetings, and we were not comfortable with her planning/coordinating our big day. We decided she was not the right fit and dismissed her, however our wedding was now 6 weeks away with no planner/coordinator and I was FREAKED out. Lauren and I have been friends since high school and literally 30 minutes after we dismissed “the best” wedding planner, an idea popped into my head of asking Lauren. Not only was Lauren thrilled but she always wanted to coordinate a wedding, I was so relieved. Lauren handled all of the major movements for us, she coordinated with all of our vendors and the venue. She also organized and led the wedding rehearsal the night prior. On the day of our wedding, she was up bright and early setting up the hall and coordinating everything. I promise you that this is an unbiased review and I am not just talking her up because she is my friend. Lauren made our wedding day run smoothly and I would highly recommend her for any of your wedding needs.
Lindsay is amazing at what she does. She was with me every step of the way when planning my wedding. She has lots of connections; so it was easy to fit my budget. My wedding budget was pretty tight. And she managed to find vendors that fit my budget and fit my expectations. She was constantly helping me set up meetings to fit my schedule. The ceremony/reception was beautiful and ran smoothly. Lindsay did everything from helping with décor, coordinating staff, helping me with my bustle and more. She has an amazing heart, is professional and truly loves what she does. I was fortunate to have her as my wedding coordinator. She made it a day I will always remember.
Keye’s guidance and suggestions made our wedding day truly stress free. She was organized and took care of everything on the big day. She had wonderful vendor recommendations and the food was to die for! Her attention to detail allowed not only my husband and me to enjoy the day, but also our families and wedding party. Keye and her assistant handled all the organization and printing of the seating chart, place cards, and menus, had cocktails and hors d’oeuvres waiting for us post ceremony so we could enjoy a few minutes alone.
