We lead with love with everything that we do - there are a few moments in our lives that are pivotal, we consider the day of your wedding to be one of the most important ceremonies of our lives. We have been blessed in this life to participate in the three most amazing transitions of a human life in our culture. As a minister I participate in the wondrous joining of two lives together in love as well as the homegoing celebrations of a life well lived. As a midwife, my wife participates in the transition of a soul as they begin their lifes journey. What an amazing honor to bear witness to these transcendent moments of life! Two people celebrating their love for each other through this ceremony, both solemn and incredibly joyous. But there's more - there are two families that are now joined together as well through the union of the couple getting married. Lifelong friendships often result from meetings at weddings and everyone knows about someone that met the eventual love of their life and got married...all from a chance meeting at a wedding!!! We discover relatives that we didnt know we had... We rekindle friendships and renew acquaintences... And for a brief moment, all of the things in this world that bring sadness or hurt are put on hold. Weddings are a celebration of new beginnings and a fountain of blessings - not only for the newly married, but for everyone!!!
