I was reluctant at first to jump into singing lessons for my seven-year old because of her age. I was afraid she would lose interest or not be able to keep her attention span. I am SO GLAD I decided to sign her up with Cindy, though. Cindy is FUN. Kids just LOVE her. She makes the lesson fun, but never wavers on keeping my child focused and on track and her teaching style is awesome. My little girl went from what I thought was "so cute" and "so great" (as a parent, I admit I AM biased), to BEYOND really GOOD. My daughter really shines now! I was shocked at how quickly she improved. She went from what "mommy and daddy" thought was "cute and great" to REALLY knowing how to sing! My daughter can REALLY sing now. And she loves Cindy to pieces. She's just a great teacher who really knows how to work with her students. We love her!
Great player. Taylors the lesson to what interests the student has. Very encouraging.
My son started lessons with Starla in the 6th grade. He enjoys each lesson and comes away with more knowledge and excitement about music. Starla has been a great supporter of Nathan as her student and also as a person. He is playing beautifully and we are so proud and happy with his progress. We consider Starla a friend as well as a piano instructor.
Great party music duo who are pros with guests. I kept them an extra hour and they are now my Texas strummers for any party I have here at the ranch. Thank you JW and Cheryl! (Sorry if I spelled that wrong...). Ask JW to play his Army Ranger song and try to keep a dry eye.

I have musical ministries. I feel as if I have been gifted in many areas of music. My mission is to use those gifts in both theological and secular forms. I take part in many different bands and perform vocals, drums/percussion, guitar, and bass.
At my private in-home private piano studio, I teach beginning piano lessons to young students. My instruction is a classically-based approach that includes a balance of technique, theory, and repertoire. I also like to make lessons fun with interactive learning games and learning repertoire based on each student's interests.

I've had a passion for music since i was very young! I've played piano for 10 years and had successfully participated in the National Piano Guild for 4 years. I also play at my church whenever the lead pianist is gone. I began to teach since the beginning of last semester and I teach lessons for an affordable price! I use the Alfred piano book series as a base for my teaching. I teach with with the goal of piano playing to become either a life long hobby or future career path for the student.
