We hired Yard works by Marcus in May 2014 to landscape, plant grass, and install a sprinkler system. The job went well, and I even posted good reviews for him. He was supposed to do my normal yard maintenance, for an additional fee, and warranty the work he performed and plants he planted for 12 months. The work was completed. He started showing up late when he was supposed to be there for maintenance or not showing up at all. He stopped returning phone calls and text messages. He came maybe three times after he finished the job. He did not get a permit for the sprinkler system; told me we didn't need one; LIE. He did not leave an owner's manual. I had to call another sprinkler system installer to find out how to winterize the system. The plants he planted were the exact opposite of what I wanted (I know nothing about plants, my fault) and many of them have since died. I recommended him to two of my good friends. He screwed both of them over and they both sued him in small claims court. He now has a "D" rating with the BBB, and I completely understand why. I will not recommend him to anyone again. Bad business, bad customer service = bad decision on my part to hire him

I'm a former employee and wish I'd never worked for him. He steals products doesn't pay employees,cuts corners and is not a person anyone in thier right would hire much less work for.
