- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a member of professional organizations where I can attend conferences, meet other caregivers in the field, and attend some of the great web-in-ars that are available,
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided that it was time for me to do a job that made me very happy, involved working with pets, and where I spent time outdoors. Having worked full time as opposed to part time, I wanted to be able to limit or expand my work days as I saw fit.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My advice would be find out as much as you can about me, weigh the interaction of your dog to me and the interactions of me to your dog, ask for three references and make sure you contact them before you hire them. If this is not possible, hire them with their knowledge that if the references are not what you are looking, that you will hire another person.
