We were very pleased with our experience with Voraussehen Kennels. We have two dogs that we took for the 30 day training. A 10 month old terrier and a 1.5 year old German Shepherd. We were at our wits end with our Shepherd. We adopted her from the shelter, she was rescued from an abusive situation. Before taking her to the kennels she was very nervous in general and very uneasy around other dogs. It was impossible to take her for walks or the park. The poor baby wasn’t able to relax at all. She knew most of her basic commands already, but just couldn’t get her mind right. Mike did amazing work with her. He really looked at the situation and tailored a program especially for her. I am happy to report that since we have been home, she will sit in her place outside, even when the neighbor dog is out and be calm until we release her. We have been able to take her to the park without incident. We are able to run in our neighborhood without her pulling us across the street at other dogs, cats, or squirrels. “Place” and “leave it” have changed our lives for the better. Our little Terrier now knows commands, but is a little tougher. He went in knowing nothing. So he is constantly testing us, but we know he knows what to do. We are able to “place” the Shepherd and work with the terrier more to make sure he remembers his commands. No more jumping and no crying when he is put in his kennel for the day. I would recommend their services to anyone.
She takes her time training my dog! I enjoy it!
Lee is very energetic and patient both with the Dogs and with us people!! She is very thorough and observes our dogs behaviours while training and tailors the training to our specific needs.
We took our fur baby, JJ, to Barks for the 3 week board & train program for basic/general obedience and we have been AMAZED at the difference the in house training has made. When JJ came home he was so very obedient that we were all shocked. What a little pleasure it is to have a puppy that looks to you as his leader instead of the other way around. Now to get the other 3 pups in for this training! LOL If you have been looking for proper training for your fur baby, look no further......you are on the right site!
Ty is excellent with dog training. Zeus just loved her from the minute she walked in the door and she taught us so much in just the first lesson that he is already well on the way to heeling perfectly and is so much calmer when we take him outside. She is so patient and understanding of dogs, it's like she speaks their language. We couldn't have asked for a better trainer. We would very highly recommend K9 to everybody who wants the best in dog training.
My first time with K9, they took care of my two cats. Great job, need just a couple of minor tweaks for next time that I forgot to include in instructions. Will use again!
I work with a rescue dog that has had a bite case filed against him and was given Amy's name as one that can work with this type of behavior. She came out yesterday to see him and the other dogs in my home - training all of them together. She quickly identified the one dog as Fearful/Aggressive and Protective/Aggressive and then showed me how the behavior manifests, how to bring it out, how to address it. It was a fantastic session working with my group as a pack but still addressing each dog's needs. She will come back in a few weeks and see how well I have done continuing the work and working on a few more items. This was incredibly valuable and I look forward to gaining continued insight while working with Amy.
Everything about them is amazing! Courtney has done such a great job helping us communicate with our deaf pit bull Sophie ❤️ She has progressed from digging to jumping on people, to learning to watch our eye contact, watch our hand signs, and completely stopped the digging! This experience has been the most amazing gift to our family! Our 3 year old son has even picked up on the sign language in order to communicate with Sophie! Seriously the best training I have ever seen! Thank you Come and Train It K9! Y’all are a blessing!
Barbara is extremely knowledgeable about animal training. I am very satisfied with how my dog has progressed in just a couple of lessons. I love how she uses positive reinforcement to create a fun learning environment for both my pet and myself.
Got my dog started on walking and avoiding some distractions. I was very pleased. Explained every part of the training and why.
Mike and Missy are phenomenal. I left my 9 month old German shepherd with them for about 3-4 hours, and in that time alone, he had already progressed with Bishop by him not barking vigorously, pulling on the leash, or misbehaving. The reason I brought Bishop to train is because he was getting older, bigger, & stronger. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to control him. But Mike works with us both. He examines the relationship between the both of me & Bishop to better train Bishop for me. They also have land for bishop to roam, & I live in an apartment in Houston, so Bishop does not get to do that often! Mike invited me to come visit whenever I could so he could also teach me how to handle Bishop. He's doing basic training right now, but I already know I'll be bringing Bishop back for further training. What I really like about Prairie Kennles is that I'm getting my money's worth. I promise you will not be disappointed with their work.
I haven't had the training yet, but just speaking with Joey on the phone made me feel comfortable with her and confident in the quality we will receive.
I've had the pleasure of working with Dallas to help train my puppy in the past. She always came prepared, and tailored each session to the specific needs for myself and my furry friend. She set manageable expectations, was punctual and consistent. I love that her approach is one based on reward to help with training. It is very clear that she loves what she does, as it showed through her communication, patience and connection with myself and my dog.
Annie is great: loves our animals, gives them love plus the training/feedback that they need, and always leaves notes for us on what has been accomplished! Whether just a day walk, or a three-day weekend, she is responsible, communicative, and reliable. Big plus: she is great with older animals, and we have an aging pack...
She was very patient with my pup. He is extremely overly excited Great Dane. Just in one training session, she has been able to get him to listen to a few commands. I am looking for for future train patients with her.
Britney has been my go-to trainer for the past year with all of our rescue dogs. She is very patient working with each other their personalities and we love the fact she uses positive reinforcement, not shock collars or anything of the sort other trainers quoted us using. She also has been helping guide us through the process of finding the right Service Dog prospect and owner-training legally. We definitely recommend her for all our dog training needs, whether in person or through Skype/Facetime when she's not in our area!
Terry, the dog trainer, has been a great dog trainer. I have tried out many in and around the area where I live, and have never had any success. This time I am seeing successes that I never thought possible. My dog is making great strides. Yes, she has a long way to go, and so do I, but with Terry's help, I believe we are achieving that goal well. Terry is very professional, yet very down to earth, and will talk to you about what he wants you to do. He models everything for you, then he gives you the leash and lets you do the work with your dog. He offers good information and helps you to correct the areas in which you might be doing something wrong. He also seems to do so until he sees you are getting it right. He explains well, and he doesn't just say ok, now you do it. He observes closely and helps you. His work quality is tip top, and he is very responsive to the dog's needs as well as any needs the owner has in working with the dog. He knows what he is doing, and he knows how to teach people . Terry is rarely ever late, but if for some reason, he is going to be a few minutes late, he always calls me to let me know this. Value can mean one of two things to me. I always think of it in a monetary way first, and as far as the money that I have spent and am spending, I believe these lessons are a great price for the money. I think they are worth every penny I have put out for them. I think about not only being worth the money for the lessons, but when I think about it, this man drives all over the place, and the price is worth it for the 35 - 40 mi drive he makes to come help and teach me to teach my dog. I realize too, that he has expenses, and he has to pay for gasoline, so the monetary price I pay is definitely worth it. I really cannot express what kind of value Terry and the lessons exhibit on a teaching and content level. I think this is the most valuable thing I have learned in a long time. I cannot measure the value that the lessons have for my dog and me. I believe she feels like she has more structure, and I am feeling positive and excited , because I am learning to be her leader instead of the other way around. I am also feeling more respected by her. I am so happy that I found Always Faithful Dog Training and that I have Terry to help me and show me how to handle my dog !
I will not hurt your pet while training it. If it doesn't come near me, I try for it to know me better.
