I first met Derrick in March 2014 by joining a local gym. I didn't think that I would ever enjoy working out but after taking Derrick's class I was left wanting more. He really changed my life for the better. Derrick has become a great friend and a big brother figure to my friend and I. Derrick is very understanding and he really loves what he does. He strives to make progress in not only his clients but himself. In the past 9 months I have known him he has pushed me to new levels by preparing me mentally and physically to finish a Spartan beast race. With his help I have gained more confidence in my day to day life. I can say I'm glad I decided to give fitness and health one last chance because if it weren't for that one day I wouldn't have met Derrick and he wouldn't have changed my life. With derrick he has pushed me to a limit were instead of maintaining my weight I lost more than expected. About 50lbs in like 5 months. Derrick convinced me to do a spartan race with him which was fun. As of now he is like the brother I never had and someone I can look up to. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to sit down with each new client and really find out why they are seeking change. This is different for everyone. What is the true reason you are looking to get out of your comfort zone and start making positive changes for a better body and a better life? What is your why?
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?After getting my degree in kinesiology I continue to challenge myself by doing a individual training specialization each year to sharpen my skills and give my clients the best results possible.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I decided to get into this because I know the feeling of tired and sluggish all the time. I wanted to help people feel like they could accomplish anything they set their minds to. This field is littered with people who just get a certification online and don't care about the people they train. They are just after a quick buck and do not care if people get results as long as they get their money. I am trying to change all that and that's why I offer a MONEY BACK GAURANTEE!!!
