Poonam Patel w/Urban Loop Studio completely redesigned & renovated our home & did a phenomenal job. Having a designer who is a skilled architect opened up what was possible with our home & resulted in a much more open concept living area. The house looks open, airy & charming, is more functional with lots of storage. She redesigned the space to include larger windows, wonderful lighting, bathrooms, kitchen & dining room. She did an amazing job & was a pleasure to work with.

We worked with Poonam on designing and furnishing our new home in Little Elm, TX. We were looking for professional help but also wanted someone that we could connect with at a personal level - be able to understand our tastes and talk to us as a friend. And Poonam was all of that and more ! Her approach is engaging and in a way makes you think about design concepts like you have not thought about before. And this was important for us. We are not naturally creative but also have opinions. And Poonam was able to 'coax' this thinking out of us - she balanced her creative ideas with our needs and likes and ultimately got us to a place where we felt that we designed our home. And now looking back, we don't think we would have been happy any other way. She's also very organized and very transparent in her approach - budgeting, tracking, scheduling, etc. Overall an absolute pleasure to work with and we strongly recommend her !

We worked with Poonam on our home remodel. From the design of the new spaces to the paint colors, she was with us at every juncture. She first asked us to make boards on Houzz and Pinterest so she could gauge our design interests. Then she took our needs and wants and created 2D and 3D images of the new spaces. She pushed us to make sure we had a home we LOVED not just liked. Her attention to detail was a real plus as it made us create a functional home as well as a beautiful one. The plans she drew up were so accurate that the contractors we had bid on our project were all impressed. She added small touches that we would never have considered had we designed the project ourselves. She also had a wealth of resources that made our project a little less painful! We have incredibly busy lives and she knew when to push and when to give us space. We constantly get compliments on the house! We highly recommend Poonam for your next renovation/design needs.

Wonderful! Before we selected Urban Loop Studio, we were stumped about how to marry different ceiling heights in our main living area where we were removing a wall. We'd been told we'd have to add a fur down, which we did not want to do. It was tricky, & 2 contractors didn't even bother to submit bids for the project. We instead hired Poonam, who quickly realized we could vault the ceiling to marry the ceiling heights, while gaining 2 1/2 feet of height in the center. It looks amazing! She also suggested vaulting the tiny tub/shower room in our master - inexpensive & what a difference that made! When our project grew from a few rooms to renovation of the entire home, she had cost-saving ideas that helped. Her training as an architect & her design ideas have made a huge impact. Thanks to her design, our formerly 3 dark, dated bathrooms now look stunning & fit our vintage/modern theme perfectly. Poonam tweaked our ideas to make the design more interesting & cleaner -- she's got a great eye. It's obvious she loves her work, & the added bonus is she's also fun to work with. My husband & I highly recommend her.

INTERIOR PROJECTS - Are usually an hourly fee or a percentage of the project cost depending on the complexity and scope of the project. RENOVATIONS - Are a percentage of the construction budget. NEW HOME CONSTRUCTION - A percentage of the construction budget that varies based on scope. We also offer A LA CARTE menu of services. Take a look at our website for details under the pricing table.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process is fun, open and friendly. The first meeting is figuring out what your needs are. We then begin designing and share our ideas of how we can get you to where you need to be. After a series of design sessions, we then begin to act on the decisions that we have made to make your home a reality.
