The Brehms Band

With a signature style and contagious energy, THE Brehms Band was founded by two eclectic songwriters fusing tasteful guitar and soulful vocals. David and Stephanie Brehm wrote and produced the song "Red Dress," a finalist in the 2009 International songwriting competition. Vocalist Stephanie Young Brehm's signature sultry style, brings a feminine and soulful approach to the standards, ballads, and blues. The Dallas Morning News commented she was “one of the sexiest performers in Dallas." David L. Brehm studied jazz guitar at the University of North Texas under the tutelage of such notable instructors as Fred Hamilton and Jack Peterson. David likes to say he learned enough notes to write a few of his own. With a clear passion for their craft, as well as each other, The Brehms band deliver back-beat grooves with an uptown sensibility. THE Brehms 7-piece band includes former members of the world famous "One O' Clock" lab band. THE Brehms Band is known for playing Jazz, Funk, Latin, Pop, and Surfer Rock, sometimes within the same song.
