- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is extremely competitive, especially when it comes to weddings and elopements. My standard wedding package is $2800 and comes with up to 8 hours of coverage, a second shooter, 400 images minimum, and a $100 album credit. I'm currently offering an elopement promotion for $1900, anywhere in the US, with TRAVEL FEES WAIVED. Check out my website for more details. For other portraiture photography, my basic package starts at $300.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Upon initial contact, I try to learn all about my customer. Getting to know what you like, what your vision is for our session, different quirks about your personality that you would like to come through the images is all a crucial part of the process. After solidifying details about the session package my customer has chosen, I take a 25% retainer to save the date. Once the session is complete, I will spend the next 1-2 weeks (4-6 for weddings) hand-editing every image to capture the best in my client. After processing is complete, I will schedule a digital viewing of the gallery to go over favorite images that may be purchased in print/product form. - What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Communications and 5 years experience as a photographer. I also keep up-to-date with the latest posing, lighting, and composition, and editing courses and techniques. I am an active member of the photography community at large always looking to grow my skills to be the best that I can be!
