About Creative Graphic and Interactive Design

Your website isn't just an electronic brochure. If professionally planned and executed, it will become an extension of your business. It will act as your salesman, reaching out to your target customers to sell your product or service.

In order for your website to work for you, it needs to be built the right way. That means achieving a careful balance of visual and information design, functionality, and usability.

Web design is both an art and a science. Our knowledge of design and development "best practices" and understanding how people use the web separates our professional websites from the "Do-It-Yourself" template-based websites. We build visually appealing sites that are content relevant, search engine optimized and custom built to your needs.

Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. In order to get an accurate estimate for your project please provide the following information:
Project Objective
Site Functionality requirements (ex. mobile compatible, animations, online chat, shopping cart, etc.)
Will images and text be provided?
Include references to sites you like.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Creating a website is like picking out a car to buy. You have to make some decisions up front before we can point you in the right direction for a car. Do you want a sedan, an SUV, a pick up truck? Websites are the same way. Do you want a brochure site, or a blog, or an ecommerce shopping site, or a portfolio site? Each of those sites has different requirements for both design and development.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. You are the authority on your business, so don't leave it up to your web designer to make decisions about your marketing message. Research other websites to see what your competition is doing. Create a document that outlines everything you want to talk about on your website. Think about possible images or videos or infographics you want to include. Decide on whether or not you want to have a blog and if you want to feature your social media involvement.
