Stephen Nutt Music

Introduction: GUITAR: Stephen teaches to a broad range of skill levels, from the first-time beginner needing a standard method approach to the experienced player desiring improvement in specific areas (including chord/scale theory, standard music notation, tablature, songwriting and ear-training). Lessons can be tailor made to fit the student's personal goals and musical tastes. PIANO: Stephen teaches piano to beginner to intermediate level students who need a standard method approach (including reading standard notation, chord/scale theory and ear-training and songwriting). Stephen holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Studies (minor - Music Theory) and a Master of Music degree in Classical Guitar Performance (minor - Theory/Composition) from the University of North Texas. In addition to his eighteen years of private studio teaching, he has also served three years as a Graduate Teaching Fellow at UNT, seven years as Adjunct Instructor at Tarrant County College, and six years at Dallas County Community College District. He is available to teach in studio, or can travel to you.
