Scotty has been my personal trainer for years. He has been wonderful at making adjustments for whatever my current physical needs are at the time. And as we get older that is quite a challenge! I enjoy playing tennis and feel that my efforts with Scotty in the gym have allowed me to continue to play. He also works with my son on occasion when he is home from college so he has a good knowledge of weight lifting. Not only is he a wonderful personal trainer but he is also a pleasure to visit with, which makes the time go faster!

Scotty Byers was a speaker at our agency's Diversity Day on Nov. 10, 2015. Scotty provided us an engaging as well as interactive presentation on personal responsibility; specifically when relating to and communicating with others. We also learned that good teams need to pull in the same direction - often stripping down to the basics to achieve the goal(s) and/or mission. Scotty shared with us his critical knowledge (learned and "aha" moments), experiences, and perspectives which helped him over come his challenges - of which we may face at some point in time. This information is a great tool for us to consider and implement. It will help us to improve and overcome our communication, leadership, and personal relationship challenges. His presentation was genuine and heartfelt. Scotty also had a challenge as his audience was a large mix of technical staff (engineers) and support staff (HR, financial, IT, etc.) His presentation style was well received by all. The fact that several of our managers took notes, spoke volumes. We hope to see him again soon.
