The overall experience with Diamond cut homes was absolutely amazing. I needed my home power washed because it had a lot of dirty and old peeling paint. I had them paint the exterior where I needed to cover up the stripped paint and give the home a fresh new look. They were punctual and open to all my questions and concerns. I highly recommend them, it’s a 5 star for me!

This professional came and viewed the fence in person and provided me an estimate of $600 for a pressure wash and a single coat of redwood stain that would include all materials and labor. I reviewed multiple quotes and went with him in the end based on the quote provided. At the end of the work I was called when I was in the middle of work and was updated through a text message that more paint would be needed and I would need to pay an additional $100 (17% more than the original estimate) to complete the job with a professional finish. I still managed to respond immediately the best I could to share my disappointment and asked the professional to respect the original quote provided and complete the work. But the professional did not complete the job and when I called back (the earliest I could) the professional had already left and told me that it would not be possible for him to come back and complete the job and neither can he do it without being paid additional money for stain. Currently, honoring my part of the commitment I am still going ahead and making the full agreed upon payment of $600 even though the work by itself is incomplete. I would ideally not recommend the professional for any fence staining job.

Details: Wood • Over 6 feet • 100 - 200 feet • Full repainting in same color • Wood stain • No, I would like the professional to supply the paint • Residential

Diamond Cut Homes's reply
Thank you for your review, I tried my best to give great service with great communication and transparency along the way. I quote him $600 for the stain and upon finding out that the fence needed significant power washing I decided to add that into the price for no additional fee. On inspection of the gate it was over 1100sq and I was advised to use 10 gallons of stain, with the option of using 5 gallons but it would be at the bare minimum. The client choose the 5 gallon option and when I communicated that I would need more he insulted me. I texted him that I can go and get the additional stain and not charge but he stopped responding to text and calls. After about 20-30 mins awaiting his response. I decided to leave under the impression I won't hear back from him. He called back later but I was a great distance away. He was disrespectful again with me on the phone. Due to that I was unable to go back.
