SweeDee's Performing Arts and Instruction

Introduction: Dana is a beginner to intermediate ballet and jazz dance instructor and choreographer. She specializes in theater arts, including acting, improvisation and theater art literacy. She is a member of the International Thespian Society. Below is a list of services provided: * Competition preparation for dance/drill teams * Pre-drill/dance team coaching * Acting and improvisation (including sketch comedy) * UIL theater preparation * High school theater tournament preparation (humorous interpretation and dramatic interpretation ) Dana has called the stage her home for most of her life. She studied and trained in ballet, jazz, contemporary, and drill beginning at an early age. Also a devoted thespian and International Thespian Society member, she has worked with several local and national theater troupes. Her repertoire includes working with the oldest running theater company in the United States, the Shreveport Little Theatre. Being a part of numerous theatrical and dance productions and competitions over a span of 28 years, Dana's love of and ongoing commitment to the arts continually grows. Her background includes volunteer work with Art Literacy and Youth (Oregon), Providence House and SLT (Louisiana), North Texas Food Pantry, and St. Jude's Research. She also studied elementary education and theater arts.
