James is BY FAR the best massage therapist I've ever had. I was YEARS overdue for a deep tissue massage and the tension in my neck/back/shoulders had gotten way out of control. For responsiveness, I would give James an A++, as he responded to my message almost immediately, within less than a couple of minutes! He was also able to fit me in to his schedule super last minute that very same morning! His quality of work is EXCEPTIONAL!! His deep tissue massage was the absolute best! I felt like a new person right away after my message. James is also extremely polite, professional, and very personable. I would 100% recommend James to anyone & everyone who is looking for a good quality in-home massage visit. James is awessome!! My advice: just give it a try & schedule a massage therapy appointment with him -- I promise you won't be disappointed!! P.S. - pricing is reasonable and TOTALLY worth it!! :) I will definitely continue booking all my massages with James on a regular basis in the future!

How do I put into words how AMAZING I feel??....Well first, moving to a new city is stressful. You think of all the things you are leaving behind in your old space, all the things you need, and all the things you will gain. Those were my thoughts when I left Houston a week ago. One of my biggest fears was not being able to find someone that would take my health and wellness to the next level. For me, massage therapy is a huge factor just as much as going to see your PCP a few times a year. And if anyone knows like I know, finding a massage therapist (a good one) is like looking for a new hair stylist or even Chinese restaurant. Hard to come by, right? Well with a recommendations for apps, I knew thumbtack was it. After reading reviews on a few therapist, James contacted me back immediately. I am HUGE on customer service and he instantly provided me with what I was seeking. I felt like I was already on the table mentally before my session because that is the level of comfort he gave. We booked instantly with no problem. ——But then, I had a schedule conflict and was worried James would not be open to adjust his schedule to accommodate me same day. James immediately responded and stated —- “I want you to be ready to relax so what ever you need to do, I'm ok”. ——That alone was a game changer for me. James delivery and communication set the bar! It’s the simple things!! James arrived promptly, professional, and prepared. He was early, yet perfectly on time. He was welcoming and made the transition to seeing a new therapist wonderful. As an experienced massage client, I felt even more comfortable on the table. The pressure was beyond perfect. I told him to give me some deep pressure, and I mean it was deep. Just what I needed! **DISCLAIMER- I’m use to deep tissue massages. so make sure you know what your modality for your body requires and what you can handle. Deep Tissue is not for the faint at heart** He took his time and observed every muscle, every tissue, and found knots I didn’t even know I had. (Again, I’m not new to massage therapy, but his techniques are truly a game changer). He described and explained issues with various muscles, why he would stretch certain muscles, etc. James definitely has his anatomy down to a science. James really gave me another perspective on massage therapy. Not just for wellness, but the road to healing. I’ve had hormone issues for years, sciatic (lower back), severe headaches, hip, shoulder, and leg injury which causes me to limit my exercise a lot. After sitting up slowly off the table, I realized how much my muscles needed James!! I think he massaged my stretch marks away. (LOL.. no seriously. The melanin in my legs are poppin). I struggled to cross my legs when standing due to knee issues and congenital blindness in my right eye, so my balance can be off at times—-But I can say this, James BLESSED my BALANCE!!! I was discombobulated (In a good way). I was soooooo relaxed afterwards. And I just say I got on the scale the morning after and had lost 3 pounds. (I lie to you not). Of course there is a LOT of water drinking you must consume following any massage—But I was ready for that. I normally have to take meds to sleep at night and for pain elimination. Well, not last night. I slept like a baby in my new bed. This was the first night I wasn’t in natural pain, just my muscles regrouping and healing. That just tells me that healing is taking place in my body.. And this feeling is OUTSTANDING! I’m sorry this review is so long, but one needs to know how UHH-MAZING James is!! He is worth EVERY Penny & more! He not only massaged me, but did some back and neck alignment and slight hip adjustment. I am usually in mad pain all day and night, but this helped to relax me and put me at ease when I went to bed. I feel I can go run a marathon. All in all, get you a JAMES!! Book him today and every week! You won’t regret it. It’s not just a luxury, but it’s a LIFESTYLE! Thank you James!!

I hired James for an all-female Valentine’s Day event; and James was superb! Each guest received 30- minute massages. There were 8 of us at the event and hiring James was the best decision I made! All of the ladies stated the same things:  He was exceptional in his technique; He left me feeling like I could walk on air!  He was able to focus on problem areas, thus giving relief and pleasure at the same time! If you need an awesome Licensed Massage Therapist; I would recommend James for your next private or group event. His rates are reasonable, and he is well worth every dime 😊

When my shoulder blades are hurting from tension, I know I need a massage! I discovered thumbtack yesterday while searching for "massage near me." I came across "thumbtack.com" and "Healing Hands." I inquired about a much needed massage for that evening from several massage therapists and because of his responsiveness I decided to go with "Healing Hands" who was available. James from "Healing Hands" called beforehand to ask what my problem areas were. I was quite stiff from sleeping on the floor of a new apartment after having moved here from another state and driving for 2 days to get here. He arrived at my house promptly for our scheduled time. He came prepared with his equipment as I did not know what to expect. He demonstrated professionalism and mastery. The massage was a therapeutic experience, but also a teaching moment as I learned about various pressure points within my own body. I did not realize the toll teleworking and the move was having on my body. His techniques were more than worth the cost and I had a great nights sleep afterwards. I will definitely be adding his services to my monthly budget now that I am working from home. Genuine reviews are money in the bank for a practitioner, Thank You Healing Hands!
