Didn't show up the day and time agreed. 2 days later they took 7 hours to move us and put together furniture badly. After all we had to deal with they still charged us full price for a bad experience.Nov 28, 2017MARISOL C.'s reply

I've used them twice now...two different teams and both were great! I definitely recommend using them.Sep 13, 2017Verified
Adam, Tony, Raul and David were awesome! Hard workers, very friendly, very professional. They made sure everything was as we wanted and even went above and beyond in helping with minor things they didn't have to do. They were very kind to my kids, joking around with them and talking to them, not at them. The guys were efficient and made this moving process so much easier than I expected. Not to say it was easy--we moved a lot of stuff. But they were in great spirits through it all. So glad we hired Castle Movers and we will be recommending them to any friends or family needing movers!Sep 18, 2016Verified
They damaged multiple pieces of my furniture. I reached out to them to ask if they would pay for the cost of damages and we have asked several times for copies of contracts from our move. We have even left voicemails. Not only are the contracts shady because they scribble in damages after they are done with the service. They never took into account what damages the furniture had before they started moving our pieces. We signed the contract before the movers even saw the furniture then at the end of the move they make you sign some form where one of the movers has scribbled in some "damages" that your furniture already had. We first hired Castle Movers I witnessed one of the workers shoving our large sofa out of our front door as the wooden leg was grinding against the solid wood door. This left horrible dents and scratch marks on my $2,000 couch. We had to move our furniture into a storage unit while we found our new home as the Plano market is very competitive. We did not notice these damages until our furniture was in our new home, which was also delivered from the storage to our new home by Castle Movers. This is why we re hired them because all of our furniture was left in storage for a few months while we found our new house. We obviously couldn't inspect our furniture right away because our storage unit was packed! They left a nail sticking out of the foot on our couch which left horrible scratches on our brand new floors. Every piece of furniture at our old house was delivered brand new from the vendor with no previous damage, scratches or dents. After we hired castle movers to move our furniture almost all of our furniture was damaged with major dents and scrapes. We paid them a total of $1800 to do two moves. If you want careless people to destroy your furniture hire Castle Movers!Sep 12, 2017VerifiedMARISOL C.'s reply
These reviews are so contradicting on May 5 Julia L. left a 5 star review and wrote there was no damage to any of our furniture when we left and they even moved a tool box that weighs several thousand pounds and went on to say she couldn't ask for more and now she is claiming that we damaged her furniture. Yes they reached out to me and reason I could not respond was because the contract was done under Brian C. and not Julia L. and I see you left pictures of your pre-existing damaged furniture but why was there no pictures of your $2000 dollar couch? Customers can read right thru your very own response where you say the movers made you sign that there was damages? Our policy is inspect the furniture and if there is pre-existing damage like in this case then we point it out to the customer and have you sign off of said damages before we move said items and not towards the end. No one in there right mind would sign off on damages if it were not true and reason we have you sign off on pre-existing damages is so we will not be held responsible. I know its been said that the customer is always right but sorry to say that in certain circumstances you have to expose the truth as not everything the customer says is correct or precise misleading anyone reading this review. Castle Movers moved you 3 times not two moves. First time we moved you from house to storage 2nd time was from storage to house and is when you left us the 5 star review and 3rd move was again from storage to house for only a few items which was done in under 2 hours. We try our best all on our moves and follow strict policies to ensure we are not held responsible for pre existing damage.

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I make sure the customer knows what they are paying for and the service we will provide. We arrive at the first location and introduce ourselves. Then have customer give us a walk through. Finally have customer read and sign the contract and then start the time and commence the move until we are finished and the customer is satisfied.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I had recently purchased my first box truck and was looking for work when I was hired as a subcontractor for a moving company.
- What types of customers have you worked with? The most common jobs I've had is relocating customers from a house to a house. We have the trucks and man power to get it done with no damages and in a timely manner.
