Introduction: I bring diversity and experience to the table that many of my peers simply don't have. I have experience as an amateur and professional fighter. I have experience coaching in boxing, and in Thaiboxing, in and outside the ring. I have a 3rd degree blackbelt in karate. I have experience as a strength and conditioning coach in one of the most respected Olympic weightlifting gyms in DFW. I am constantly learning, and trying to better myself. I can help you get fit, learn to fight, lose weight, gain muscle, and eat right. I love to see something click for someone.

I have been working out with Nathan for a few years now and he is the best around! Nathan pushes me to my best potential each week and always is changing up our workouts so that we are not doing the same routine. Highly recommend him to anybody looking to change not only your physical appearance but also change the way you look at nutrition. He is always going above and beyond for his clients!

I feel so lucky to have found him. Nate's knowledge, experience, teaching and training ability, have far exceeded what I was looking for in a coach.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am constantly looking for ways to improve my knowledge. I recently took a course with James Fitzgerald and OPT to advance my coaching and program writing skills with respect to strength and conditioning. 2 years ago I went to Thailand to train with some top level Muay Thai coaches. I'm also currently working on furthering my knowledge in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started off as a fighter. I fought amateur and professional bouts as a kick boxer and Muay Thai fighter. I had some injuries that prevented me from continuing so I decided to move into coaching, and I don't regret it for a second! It has been a very rewarding career choice.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Don't fall for hype or flash. Tried and true is the way to go. The basics are called basics for a reason, go to a coach who is willing to lay groundwork and really develop your skills, and train you the correct way.
