FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Our most common job is 2-3 30-minute visits a day while clients are out of town, although we do have over 15 clients that we walk daily.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The best pet sitters are those that are fully invested in their companies and their industry. Check to see if your prospective sitter is a member in good standing with any professional associations. A CERTIFIED professional pet sitter has been through heavy study and rigorous testing to ensure they are well educated in all aspects of pet care. Ask for and check references but don't let online reviews carry too much weight since disgruntled former employees or unethical competition can post those reviews! Your potential pet sitter should be asking YOU questions about your home and pet to make sure she fully understands all aspects of care. A true professional will have a service agreement, a vet release and a home & pet info form for you to complete, either on paper or online. Watch your prospective pet sitter interact with your pet. Does she get on the floor at the pet's level? Does she speak directly to your pet in a kind voice? Does she seem unphased by slobber, hair, eye goobers, etc? Go with your gut - you'll know if she's a true animal lover or not!
