Introduction: My piano tuning and technician experience goes back 4+ generations. I'm semi-retired and only tune 1-2 pianos per day to give my clients my best effort. Satisfaction guaranteed! A good tuning will transform a "tinty/saloon" sounding piano into a rich sounding musical instrument. For me the fun part is to have my customer hear their piano sound like the manufacturer intended for it to sound...maybe for the first time!

Gary tuned my piano this week and I was quite impressed with the quality and scope of his work. In addition to bringing the piano to proper pitch, he performed many adjustments and gave excellent tips on future maintenance. I would highly recommend Gary to anyone who loves the piano. His passion and knowledge of the instrument is extraordinary. I actually practiced after he was finished!

Piano tuning has been passed down for generations in Gary's family. Gary has over 40 years of experience with piano tuning, and he is so cordial! I learned a lot about pianos from Gary during my piano tuning appointment. Gary is very knowledgeable, and I definitely recommend him. Worked diligently and has very high standards. Very congenial and, we enjoyed hearing him play to show us the sound after he finished. This is the second time he has tuned our piano. We will continue to use him in the future!

Very punctual, great knowledge about inner working of a piano. My piano was off 1/2 a pitch, and Mr. Gary tuned it up, cleaned and refurbished the velt on the hammers, vacuumed off the dust, and fine tuned it for the second time, he even helped retrieved a pencil from the keyboard. Very professional and reasonable on his pricing. I am impressed with how my piano sound afterward. Will definetely recommend his service.

Gary just tuned our piano today (we found him here on Thumbtack and I chose him based on the other reviews). Well, no one exaggerated; he's excellent! Very personable and knowledgeable -- he knows what he is doing and is good at explaining the what/why to the layperson (me) who stands there wondering. I will use Gary the next time this (or another) piano need to be tuned and would recommend him to anyone.

Experience is the best teacher when it comes to tuning pianos...the more the better! Also, there is no "tuning machine" that is as good as an experienced piano tuner's "ear".
