- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I for one, cannot stand it when I am quoted a price and then all of a sudden there are all these additional fees, not what I signed up for! So I have made it my mission (for my business) to be upfront about all fees so that there are no surprises for anyone. If you have a question about anything, just ask!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I discuss the clients needs and concerns about the shoot such as clothing, backgrounds, etc. so that they are comfortable from the start. We then schedule the shoot at a convenient time for the client and make it happen. During the shoot, I will show previews of the images just to make sure we are going in the right direction. I will shoot until the client is happy! I then edit the files and send them over to the client, usually within 24 hours. The client makes their selections, I personally retouch their files and send via WeTransfer or Dropbox.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology (one of the top photography schools in the world) with a degree in Professional Photography and have been shooting professionally ever since. I have a background in advertising and corporate work (annual reports, brand identity, web and social media, etc.)
