I love how you can split your hours between different tutors from Arbor Tutors. I was able to use some hours for chemistry, some hours for math and some hours for English. The best of the best!

I had Armin as a tutor for my A&M business math course. He was extremely helpful when we met which was about twice a week. He made time for all of his clients and always made sure I knew the material before moving on. Armin was a huge help that semester. I planned on making a C and ended up with a high B. Extremely good tutor and would recommend to anyone.

I found Oludare here on thumbtack when I was looking for a tutor for my contemporary mathematics class which is similar to college Algebra. Math has never been my thing but Oludare really helps me understand it where I can easily make good grades on my assignments and test. He is a great tutor who is even willing to stay late with you just to help you understand something. I will definitely use him in the future and recommend him to anyone I know who needs help in math.

Hollis has been tutoring my Sophmore son in Algebra 2 since late February. His approach is very formalized, he works with your child to ensure they understand the problem so that they are not simply writing down answers. I highly recommend Hollis for math tutoring. As with many service provider's I always take the time to confirm an appointment via text.

Monica does a great job at explaining material that you may not understand in the classroom. You will have the opportunity to have a mathematics expert evaluate how you learn as an individual and teach you in the best way possible. She is very well the investment. I would highly recommend her to anyone that struggles with math or anyone who has aspirations of raising their grade.

Erica was an amazing and very understanding tutor for my child. She worked very hard with her for about a year and a half and helped bring her up to grade level and beyond. My child went from having very low math scores to now having high Bs and even As sometimes. We couldn't have done it without her!

I was a little skeptical at first because of how young he was. But he does indeed know his stuff and is an excellent tutor. I'm not exactly great at Math after a 1 session but I learnt a lot of tips and tricks that have made Math problems more easier for me to solve.

    About

I have over 20 years of experience in teaching mathematics and statistics to students of all levels, including university. My experience really shows in the way I tutor my students as I have seen and mastered almost all types of problems and scenarios. I believe that my role as an educator is not only to inform but also to train students to think both independently and collaboratively and take the knowledge they gain in the classroom and apply it in their lives. I envision my classroom to be one where students actively participate in the learning process with lessons involving interactions not only with their teacher but also with each other. To train the next generation of mathematicians and statisticians, I believe that students must be taught to ask questions and properly employ the logical method to answer them. The engineers, technocrats, social scientists, philosophers and economists of tomorrow must also work in collaborative, multidisciplinary environments to solve real-world problems. Furthermore, priming students for any discipline requires knowing the basic concepts thoroughly with a strong emphasis on technical writing and presentation skills. I believe all of these principles must be employed to prepare the next generation of scientists for their personal careers and for their contributions to the world.
