Introduction: If you are looking for more than just fitness out of your exercise routine, including freedom from pain, increased range of motion, greater concentration and ability to be present and your most healthful self in all aspects of your life, a yoga therapy inspired yoga practice is right for you. With yoga therapy, yoga poses and ayurvedic lifestyle analysis will help guide you to wellness as you create a sustainable health plan that you will be able to manage in today's busy world. I prefer to meet at least two or three times a week to begin. This will allow me to fine-tune your take-home practice. You will receive beneficial literature and each class will be planed around the specific goals that you have communicated as your focus. You will learn how to adapt yoga for your personal practice through breath-work, pose modification, and passive stretching to accomplish various releases in the body. This is done with the use of bolsters, blocks, and other helpful props.

Amanda helped me find a way to exercise using yoga despite my multiple injuries. I have a bad knee and ankle, and she came up with creative ways to recreate poses. Very patient and innovative!

I have attended a number of Amanda's group yoga classes, as well as arranged a couple private lessons for times when I was experiencing lower back pains. She was able to work with the pain I was experiencing and show me some very helpful stretches and postures that helped to relieve the pain as well as protect myself from repeated injuries. She is a caring and knowledgable instructor who I would recommend highly!

Amanda has been amazing! I started looking for a yoga instructor last week, and I've already had two sessions with Amanda. She is super attentive, gives great cues, spends time getting to know you and your needs. Awesome. Will be continuing with her!
