Introduction: I'm a "real world musician" with national tour experience and studied Guitar Preformance at the University of North Texas. My lessons are well thought out and on track taught in my home studio in Denton Texas. A side from being able to give back to the musical community and helping others find joy in creating and playing their own music, I love to play guitar all day.

As a previous student of Dustin Fleming at School of Rock Frisco, I can not only say that my guitar skills have dramatically improved, but that I have also gained a friend. Dustin was a gifted teacher, with a solid knowledge of music theory as well as a wide range of musical experience. You will be able to learn any style you would like and be aware of the theory that's behind it. Dustin having also coached my band, "The Varlets", during our show-playing days, led us to play many shows and even to record our own EP. It's next to impossible to find a teacher that has such a great musical education, plays in a rocking band, and has the ability to teach, but then there's Dustin, whose musical expertise ranges from jazz to hard rock and almost everything in between. He can teach any level, beginner to advanced, as he is patient enough for a beginner and with enough knowledge to throw an advanced player a "musical curveball", if you will. With practice, determination, and Dustin, you will be amazed with what you can learn and achieve in a portion of the time that you could spend with a less skilled teacher. Having been through many different teachers, I've experienced some less skilled ones, but I was more than pleased with lessons from Dustin, my most recent teacher. If you need a teacher that will teach you what you need to know as well as what you want to know, Dustin's your man!

I took 45 minute weekly lessons from Dustin for over a year. I am an experienced student and have been playing guitar for 6 years. Over the years I have had a handful of different guitar teachers. Dustin (being my most recent teacher) was hands down the most talented and helpful teacher I have ever had. This guy seriously amazed me with with his knowledge, skill, technique and how he was literally able to figure out anything by ear instantly ...and how easily he was able to teach it back to me. I always seemed to pick up on things quicker when he taught it. I had always struggled with music theory...and he always made it easier to understand. Having him as a teacher really pushed me to want to be a better guitar player in all ways. There was always something new for him to teach me. He is also very experienced with being in bands, recording, and gear. He was able to give me LOTS of advice and guidance to help me with me own band and musical journey. I also have a few friends that take lessons from Dustin... they ALL are extremely awesome guitarists that have benefited from him lessons. I would recommend Dustin for anybody. From beginners to experienced players like me.

My son has taken guitar lessons with Dustin Fleming for 3 years. He has had numerous quality guitar teachers since his start at 8 years old. However, he was placed with new instructors every 6 months or so to accommodate schedule changes, until he was paired with Dustin at 10 years of age. I instantly knew we had found my son's perfect match. We insist on staying with Dustin and his 45 minute sessions, as my son thoroughly enjoys learning from him. My teenager looks forward to each guitar lesson and leaves each session with a huge smile on his face. He will talk a mile a minute about what all Dustin taught him, and improves quickly with each lesson. Dustin is a phenomenal guitar player, exceptional teacher and fantastic role model. He also has served as a band coach for my two boys, and encourages them to write their own songs. He knows how to keep young students' attention, and motivates him/her by tuning into their interests. I honestly do not have any complaints. He is punctual, and cancels lessons with ample warning, if he ever experiences a scheduling conflict. My sons love working with him. I highly recommend him for guitar lessons. You won't regret it.

I do. I am always learning, practicing and playing with people that are better musicians with more experience than my self.

I recently helped two of my students with the audition proscess to the UNT College of Music and 1 to Berkeley College of Music.
