RDB Remodeling

Back in June 2014, Douglas Hall contracted me to build a ramp in his garage. The ramp was built and completed in one day. Mr. Hall promptly paid me by mail for all of the work that he had contracted me for. Several days later I was contacted by Mr. Hall to perform some additional work in his attic. A start date for this new work was never agreed upon, the work was never started. Mr. Hall NEVER paid me for any additional work. Mr. Hall apparently believes that providing a person with a price quote obligates that contractor to perform the work. A price quote is just that, a price quote- not a contract to perform the said work. I spoke to Mr. Hall repeatedly, and expressed to him that I was not able to schedule the additional work that he wanted. He could have easily called another contractor. Instead, he contacted me and threatened to put bad reviews of me on Thumbtack if I did not come and perform the work in his attic - which he did. I did tell him that if he posted lies on a public web site, that I would take legal action against him.
