IS&C is an excellent gym!!! I have been working out with a personal trainer for almost a year and have noticed my strength greatly improving. I have tried other gyms and trainers before but found the staff at IS&C to be very knowledgeable and attentive. The co-owner /personal trainer Dan Chavez is very effective and dedicated to his client by creating a path to success. Dan has been extremely attentive, focused, yet hard-pushing with patience and a smile. If you are looking for a great trainer, give Dan a try. You can't go wrong!

I have been working with Hugo Chico for over a year now and that relationship has been both beneficial and extremely productive for me overall. He is highly aware and educated when it comes to the bodys physique and what is required to attain your personal goals. As a personal trainer, he has not only been able to help me address my previous injury issues and the associated work out pains but has actually taught me about different weight routing exercise programs to avoid further injuries. Elsa was my personal trainer before she moved to Maryland due to her husband's permanent chance of station in the military. She did an outstanding job of challenging and encouraging me. The results were tremendous. I lost almost 10% body fat and lowered my blood pressure. I would definitely recommend her.
Mike Arrowood at Arrowood Strength Training is not your average personal trainer! He is the complete package: Education (degrees and many certifications), work-related experiences (world class athlete, EMT, clinical exercise specialist for a physical therapy practice), professional in operating his business and most of all wants all of his clients to see results and obtain their goals. Personally he has helped me reach my fitness and weight-loss goals and helped me overcome setbacks I experienced through his knowledge of the human anatomy, physiology and bio-mechanics; training protocols and nutrition. Mike made certain I didn't feel like "just a client" but was a part of my program. He did this through his personal interactions of asking questions, listening to the responses regarding my goals, progress , "how I am feeling" and making observations during my training sessions. He also explained the program he developed and the mechanics of the program and the exercises to ensure I understood how we were going to achieve success. The bottom line he knows what he's doing! He's good at what he does! and he makes it fun too!
Laura has trained me over the course of many years. I find her incredibly knowledgeable and passionate not only as a trainer but also as a nutritional adviser. I had no idea how important nutrition is to attain your specific goals. Laura helped me achieve my goal of increasing muscle definition. She also introduced me to plyometrics which I greatly prefer over getting my cardio in on a treadmill. There's no question that Laura knows exactly how to train you to get the most out of your experience. Add to that she can teach you exactly how to get your nutrition under control.
This is one of the best designed gym in El Paso. It's very clean and there is tons of room. Priscilla is an excellent trainer and works around your schedule. She trains as slow or as quickly as needed. Definitely recommend this gym and trainer.

John is an outstanding trainer! I came to John unfit and overweight. And concerned that at my age would not see great results. I also had injuries from a car accident a few years ago! He paid attention to my old injuries and I have not had one day since starting with him that I am sore or in pain! He has so much experience and unlike other trainers does not believe that you need to be in pain to get results! That's why I have stuck to this program of his, and am seeing the results. My body is stronger and better than it's ever been, fat is being replaced with muscle and I have no loose skin! He is toning everything up the right way, with no injury! Working with Marissa was awesome! As a bikini competitor I needed someone who was going to push me hard at the gym & she did just that. If I wasn’t relocating to Vegas I would still be training with Marissa. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants a great trainer. I’ll even book her on my vacation time when I go back to El Paso to visit.
I couldn't have asked for a better trainer. I have been challenged and pushed a great deal. He makes working out fun and inspires me to reach new goals. I'm very impressed by his passion to help clients, his knowledge, and his ability to connect with his clients. He is very attentive to what each client needs, what their limits are, and how far he can push them. He encourages and motivates me to do better, and yet he knows how much I am capable of.
Awesome trainer he is attentive and motivated to help you in the first month I felt and looked better then I have in a long time, he helped me over come the pain my body had and got me healthier. Worth every soreness and tiredness i felt and he will push you to where YOU want to be.

Davidson is by far the most dedicated and motivational trainer who really cares about his clients and their goals. He is a little hard on you at times but you can truly see how passionate about what he does and will be there for you every step of the way.
