Shane just finished a remodel of our home office and we’re getting geared up for a much larger project (adding a second floor to part of our house). I feel comfortable recommending him strongly; he’s wonderful to deal with—pleasant and personable, unfailingly courteous and respectful and, most importantly, scrupulously honest and highly competent. Unlike other craftspeople and contractors I’ve dealt with, Shane is extremely good about communication. He usually responds to texts or calls within minutes; almost always within a few hours. It has never once taken him more than a day or two to get back to us when we've reach out to him. When there’s a delay getting something done, he explains why (e.g., the masons he trusts are delayed because someone on the crew got COVID). But, really, the key, for us—and reason we didn’t even consider talking to other contractors before going to Shane with our major home addition project, now that the office renovation is done—is that we trust him completely. We trust him to do solid, high quality work and to treat us fairly. Every experience we’ve had with him has validated and reinforced this trust. He’s always been responsive any time we have an issue with some detail of the work. He doesn’t ever argue or try to persuade us that we should be happy with it the way it is. He just gets someone out to address the issue as quickly as he can. It’s just really clear to my wife and me that he takes enormous pride in being good at what he does and in doing things right. We feel very lucky to have found him and he’ll be our first call anytime we need work done on our house.

  Our pricing and our service is geared to having repeat customers and building long time working relationships

• What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

  We schedule an initial meeting to review the project, the scope of work and the customers needs, expectations and designs. Then we build a project proposal that fits the finish design along with the customers expectations.

• What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

  I did large loss insurance restoration for about 12 years…repairing and rebuilding burn downed, flooded and storm damaged houses and buildings. This experience has uniquely qualified me to be able to envision finished projects during design phase and understand how to deal with complex, unexpected issues.
