My 10 year old was getting bored with his previous instructor's teaching methods and had been begging us to drop guitar lessons. We thought we would try a different instructor. We've had only one meeting, but I saw a light reappear in my son's eyes and he is excited to start lessons with Jon. The video lessons and use of newer computer technology and has my son excited and motivated to keep learning to play.
I contacted Georgie for guitar lessons. I was a beginner at the time with absolutely no experience with guitar. Georgie has been fantastic with me and my new music journey. He is super patient and he really makes class fun. Not to mention he is a total bad to the bone guitarist! Definitely worth looking into, best price and experience in Fort Worth!
Willysage is teaching me how to play the guitar. I've had two lesson and I'm very pleased with him as a teacher. He's punctual yet laid back. He knows what he's doing and how to teach it very well. He makes what could be overwhelming very managable and I'm excited to practice and keep learning. He texts me the strings and fingering of chords and the strumming pattern after he leaves so I have reference notes for my homework. Best of all: he does not pressure me at all but I feel encouraged to sing when I want! Nothing could be better. He's exactly the teacher I need, and he's got a great voice!
Michael will not only teach you proper mechanics, he will teach you ways to improve upon the "typical" ways of playing to free those fingers up to do more! I have had a couple lessons with him and will have more! I am a musician but only a rough beginner at guitar. I had 15-20 lessons years ago with another master, Dick Gordon Jr. in Tulsa, OK and working with Michael will be a great way to follow those up and get back into learning. He also enjoys helping people to learn to play the songs they want to play in just about any style.
I contacted Warren several months ago about having a special circumstance with timing as I was coming to visit family members in the Dallas area. I needed to have as many lessons as possible over a 1 month period that I could handle before returning to another state and city where good guitar teachers are few and far in-between. I had 10 years of piano as a child and young teen, and only three guitar lessons as a teen. I had no idea how to really apply piano theory to the guitar, and was at a point I wanted to do more only having about 95% efficiency in basic chords. After a month of Warren working my fingers off I actually have a much better understanding of where I need to continue to go in order to reach a higher level in my playing! I feel that his knowledge and ability to explain things has made that possible. Whenever I didnât understand, I never had a concern about asking him to re-explain, and he never acted as if that was any imposition. I would recommend Warren to anyone that was looking for someone to give them a solid base in guitar theory and application. I will be back for more help anytime I am able to make my way back to Dallas, hopefully building on the steps he has shown me in between. Warren is a good solid teacher and an all around really nice person. KC Hernandez
Richard was great! He will evaluate you on an individual basis to see how much you know, what you're looking for , etc. I highly recommend him from beginners to those who have a general knowledge of the piano and music in general.
Ben is one of the best guitar instructors I've had the pleasure of working with for over a year now. Not only is he an excellent instructor he's a first rate studio musician caliber talent as well. He received his degree in guitar from college in California. As his student I've benefited from his expertise and the skills he learned there. Ben brings patience and encouragement that is important for beginner students to have in an instructor. He's fun to work with and I always look forward to jamming and learning from him. If you are considering either beginning guitar lessons or furthering skills you may already have let Ben Hefley help you get to that next level.
I enjoyed my lessons with Marc Adams so much. He was very attentive and patient, making sure I had a skill down before moving on to the next, so I never felt nervous or rushed. His sense of humor and obvious passion for guitar made the lessons fun, and I felt his commitment to my progress. He was always ready and waiting when I arrived, and didn't let anything distract him from the lesson. I am grateful to have had the chance to work with him.

We love Zach He's on time, professional and extremely knowledgeable. Would highly recommend him to beginners or advanced guitar students
Ken has been a great guitar teacher for me and my son. Me as a beginner and my son as a moderately advanced player. Ken understands how to communicate and teach at whatever level a student is playing. He gives fun and challenging practice assignments and does not give discouraging lectures. If a student feels discouraged, Ken has fun confidence building exercises and videos to help.
I would highly recommend Cody to anyone looking for lessons on an instrument, whether you're a beginner or looking to take your skills to the next level. I was a little nervous taking the leap into professional lessons, but Cody made me comfortable right from the get go. He's patient and teaches me at a pace that feels right. I take guitar lessons with Cody, but I know he plays and teaches a wide variety of instruments. I'm glad I stumbled upon this guy, and I'm really pleased with the results.
Josh Presley has extensive knowledge when it comes to playing guitar, writing music, and music theory in general. He can play various styles to include: classic rock, metal, blues, funk, and even some classical guitar. He showed me the ropes when I was first learning how to play the electric guitar. He helped me to understand that there isn't just one way to play something, which helped me to develop my own style. Josh has a lot of technique in his skill set as well. Alternate picking, speed picking, sweep picking, harmonics, riff structure and soloing are just a few to mention. I highly recommend Josh Presley for not only beginners, but intermediate and early advanced players as well.
I have been taking adult beginner's piano lessons from Dr Tolosa for the last 6 months. He is an excellent instructor, having the patience of Job and always optimistic and encouraging (which is what is needed for someone like me who likes to do things right the first time and piano is something that, unless you're a prodigy, you are not going to get it right the first time...or the second time...or the third time...).
Senior Process Engineer at Finisar Corp I have been a guitar student of Mr. Mengers for 13+ years and I can tell you this guy is amazing and great at what he does. He is very organized, but will tailor your guitar class to your specific needs. I was an absolute beginner with no previous musical experience in 1998 when I started taking private lessons, but I knew what I wanted from the class before I started lessons, and Chris has helped me achieve that. He can teach you how to play music from any genre (jazz, pop, rock, Christian, etc.).
Dr. Bob Lawrence is an outstanding musician and teacher of music. I have been studing piano with Bob for two years. He is very good at teaching the technical aspects of playing the piano, but more importantly he teaches the theory behind what you are doing so you have a complete understanding of what you're learning and why you were learning it. I would highly recommend Dr. Bob Lawrence and the Dallas School of Music for anyone that wants to learn music whether they are a beginner or advanced.
