FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I don't know how complicated my pricing is, but I usually charge 2-3 times the material cost OR $20-50 an hour depending on the work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a member of the American Welding Society and receive their monthly publications, along with owning a number of their published resources. I graduated from the Combination Welding Program from North Central Texas College in Gainesville, TX in March, 2012.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was in the healthcare field for two and a half years, and did not enjoy my work. I needed something where I could work hard, make good money, and support my family, all while providing a physical product for the people I serve. I settled on welding because I enjoy it and it met my requirements for a satisfying job.
