FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The customer should know, at least for myself, everything is included and tacked into the quote. This includes cost of travel and gas, as well as any other fees that may arise for the specific project. The customer’s needs are always first and also the reason why quotes are always negotiable. I want to earn your business!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
With new customers I always want to get all the important details first (time, date, location, project, quote, etc.) I think it’s important to get the hard facts first before moving forward and to avoid a potential miscommunication. And sometimes it may not be a great fit for the customer or professional and that is completely fine and something to catch early on.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started self employed handiwork at the start of September in 2021. I have a background in Finance, but I was always curious to see what kind of work I could do with my hands that didn’t really have to do with typing behind a desk.
