He replaced some wood all around my house that had dry rot. He was very nice, friendly and very knowledgeable. He did very good work. He also repaired my patio cover which was in really bad shape. It looks great now. He put in my doggie door. I will definitely call him if I need anything else.
Dale installed a ceiling fan for me. He was on time, friendly, and knowledgeable. The install took only about an hour. I would definitely recommend Dale and I would hire him again for future home repair or install service.
I asked for a drywall repair quote. He came with a couple of guys, and was ready to start work immediately. They did the job quietly and efficiently in just a couple of hours. The texturing match to existing work was excellent. Appropriate materials were used... concrete drywall board since the repair was in a bathroom. I would definitely call him again if I need drywall/ texturing.
Jason was great. He helped me with all my moving needs - heavy lifting, picture hanging, TV mounting and wall repair.
Easy and Hassle free experience. Mr Ornelas came out and did a top notch, left my porch like it was brand new
Had a fence replaced. Did a great job at great price. Came in very close to the over the phone ,"site unseen quote'. Found a few things the builder had done that they had to work around, and explained it all to me ahead of time. Already asked him to price supplies to re-frame/weather seal a box window and replace a porch pillar.
Josh was very professional and provided me with a quote to repair rotted door casing. Josh went above and beyond to make sure the job was done correctly and did not over sell repairs to me. I will more than likely be using him when other repairs pop up.
I didn't know where to start and found this online service. I needed a few repairs made to my roof. Keith Patterson got in contact with me and came out and did a free inspection and quote. After his evaluation we decided to go ahead with his services. He did a great job and apparently a neighbor needed roof repair and hired him on the spot! Will definitely recommend!
Excellent repair on my lawn mower. Very knowledgeable professional. Great communication, on time and pays attention to details like clean fuel cap. Fixed an oil leak by cleaning a cap as a bonus. I highly recommend.
Fast service and professional results. We hired Mr. Mugford to repair a 'step through' hole in the ceiling. It was a time sensitive repair as the home was in the process of being sold. Raymond was quick to respond to our questions and was able to get out to the site the very next morning to do the repair. Not only was the patch absolutely seamless and perfectly texture matched to the original finish, the work area was kept spotless and his pricing was very competitive. Very satisfied with the results and will use Ray again in the future.
We used CARSA construction for our home repairs, and they were GREAT! We had damage to our roof and needed it replaced. CJ came out and looked at the roof and gave me a prompt estimate, his prices were very fair. We had 5 other roofing companies also give estimates. We chose to go with CARSA, and we are so glad we did. He met with our insurance adjuster and I, he also provided me with all of the materials, choices, colors and prices to make the decisions that I needed to make. CJ answered all of my questions whenever I had any, and I had lots, as this was the first time we have ever had to do this. He was always available by phone, text or email, and always responded promptly. They replaced our roof, we changed from wind turbines to ridge vents, and he explained it all to me to help me decide. They replaced our gutters and added gutter covers to the back where we had trees. Repaired the fence, power washed and stained it. The roof was finished in two days and looks great, the seamless gutters and covers were done the next day. The fence was damaged in a storm the night before they were to power wash it, so they ended up repairing it for us first, then washing and staining it, another two days. So all work took a total of five days, with a couple bad weather days and weekend in between. It all looks AMAZING and we couldn’t be happier! We will definitely use this company again and recommend them to all we know that may need work done. From start to finish CJ kept me informed, was very professional, helped me deal with the insurance, and all of his workers were very nice, efficient, polite and helpful. We couldn’t ask for a better experience, we wish all companies were like this one, it would make life so much easier. Thank you CARSA and CJ it was a pleasure working with you.
Dynamo Remodling exceeded my expectations. They were reasonable with their pricing and definitely delivered with quality work. I had started an outdoor kitchen and I hired them to finish out the trimming on the project, add an additional support beam, repair siding, and repair some of my soffit. They did all of the work in one day! I was so excited. I will definitely use them in the future.
Let me start by saying I would happily be a reference for Nick and HomeCrafters for anyone looking to have their roof replaced, windows redone, or any kind of home repair or construction. Heck, go to the website and look at the work! Earlier this summer, I contacted my insurance company about possible hail damage on the roof of my house after a recent hail storm. I had no idea of any damage, but I wanted to make sure (we all pay premiums, right?). The agent told me there was indeed damage and gave me a detailed estimate and a payout--minus my deductible--to file right there. In the meantime, I had decided that the 1987 windows in my Plano home, which were extremely clouded, neglected and in many cases *broken*, needed to be replaced. I put in some info on Thumbtack and was given five responses. My how those responses varied. Nick was really the only one who actually answered my questions and always responded. After reading all of the other reviews and seeing photos of his work, I got him to come out and give an estimate for the windows. Nick showed me the windows he used and did some more research, they have a great reviews and a really low U-factor and SHGC rating--and a LOT cheaper than the windows I had installed earlier from Lowes! So much so, I ultimately decided to have all of the windows in the house replaced. Homecrafters does full construction so I also talked to him about the roof and some of the ways my patio pergola was messed up. Nick gave me a wonderful deal where I was able to get the roof fixed and have enough money left over from the claim to help pay for the windows! When the work was done, it was done well, but with a few hiccups along the way. I understand how we always want construction projects to go perfectly, but that's just not always how it is. The roofing crew weren't quite fast enough to get tarps up before it started to rain a bit, so there was a some water stains done to some of the sheet rock. Plus one of the window installers inadvertently put his knee through the sheet rock while installing a window. However, Nick always addressed every issue and made sure it was taken care of. He would have other workers come out to fix any issues that arose, even if it was coming out of his pocket. Nick didn't ever raise the cost on me. What he quoted me was what I paid. The one thing we added on--a post for my patio because it was sagging--he only charged me for the wood and did the labor for free. Even after he was paid and the project was finished, he would still call to make sure everything was good. And better yet, he would return MY calls. Imagine that, a contractor that actually answers the phone and returns calls! All in all, I have to say it was a great experience, even if there are always a few issues that arise. The work was professional, the price was great, and the result is awesome. It always made me a bit uneasy having these large projects going with strangers going in and out doing construction, but I have to admit I'm pleased with the result and can highly recommend Nick and Homecrafters to anyone for any kind of home construction.
We were very pleased with our services and experience with Cooper Painting. This last year they painted our friends Duplex in Pahrump NV and they did an excellent job. We will have Cooper Painting paint our properties every time. Tim recently completed a large two home project for me. He and his crew definitely earned 100% of the 5 stars that I have listed for him. I don't always write long reviews, but I definitely wanted to take the time to write one for Sonshine Paint. Here's why and what you get with them: 1.) Professionalism and punctuality wrapped in a very engaging and joyful people. 2.) High quality work with high quality products in a highly detailed manner. 3.) High competency professionals who seek to understand your goals and can communicate options and suggestions clearly. 4.) Pricing is transparent and work timeline is accurate. 5.) The owner is on the job. 6.) No nonsense, no home repair hostage situation, no up-sell, no misquotes, no "I forgot", no "I didn't see". The quote did not change. When I added work, the quote for the added work was specifically noted and separated from the original quote. They were fair, moral, honest and transparent. I've experienced different painters in the past both as the home owner repairing life's wear and as new home buyer. Sonshine Paint stands apart from all the others in many instances. In the example of new homes or complete paint jobs, Sonshine Paint uses better long lasting products and a better application that exhibits a very tangible difference in quality. They also have a great attention to detail and sense of pride in their work so you will not find some ugly clump of texturing or a missed edge. Where the company really shined was one of the homes had some big drywall scuffs and cuts and I did not have the original paint to aid with a color match. Along with those challenges, the home had several rooms that required a color change from very dark to neutral. Sonshine executed the color change flawlessly and all of the areas that required retexturing were repaired in a manner exceeding expectation. Where Tim went way beyond expectations is in the color match. He could have easily given up, provided a close match and easily convinced me to paint more to make up for the missed match. Instead, Tim took several doors off, cut non-noticiable drywall pieces and made many trips to ensure a perfect match. His efforts saved several walls from being completely repainted thereby saving me money. With the fresh thick paint and the repairs the home looks better than when I bought it new. I also had the a lot of fencing stained at both homes. One fence was grayed with shards of stain left and looked horrible the other fence was faded even though the stain was 3 years old and covered with an additional coat of water seal. From staining in the past with normal water based stain, I figured that my fence was never going to look good again. Sonshine cleaned the fence thoroughly and used an oil based product to bring the life back into it. They used an expensive product, buy my fence looks perfect again and the finish should be very durable with the oil competent and there will be no need for a water seal. Can you find a cheaper quote on your paint work? You probably can, but I will stack all my chips on Tim that the quality and value will be greater with Sonshine Paint.
My initial request involved cleaning up the weeds and shrubs to my entryway. My home looked abandoned! Not only did he do an amazing job trimming the shrubs and removing weeds, he swept my porch and fixed a broken piece of wood on one of my columns. After being impressed by this job, I had to have him repair my deck that was falling apart. It had peeling green paint and dry-rotted wood. It's now safe to walk on with a fresh paint job. Thanks Tom!
We had Huso Construction come repair our downstairs picture window. The workers showed up at the promised time and worked throughout the day. We were very pleased with the quality of the work, and that the gentleman took the time to salvage all our brick in order to reuse it to maintain the aesthetic quality of the house, as it is a front window that was repaired. We are very happy with the service that was provided and intend to use Huso Construction for future projects. Of note, "Value" was not checked simply because I don't have a basis on which to rate this particular measure.
Various apartment repair works from floor, bathroom, kitchen and electrical. Ronnie a fabulous job in reasonable time. Could recommend him highly
Bill is a nice guy and he and his crew offered us options on the repair work we needed done. They got the job done that day and we passed our inspection the next day.
OMG everyone! Bobby is the guy you want to hire. I hired him to do one thing in my brand new house- drywall. He was so good at doing the drywall, my mother hired him that day after seeing pictures of his work. He is on time, friendly, extremely reasonable, and not trying to take advantage of you by doing less than excellent quality work. His prices are fair and he is very informative. I have several more projects to do and he will be doing them all. I have one particular project I was misinformed on regarding price and process. After mentioning it to Bobby, he told me how easy it is to do and how cost effective it would be to do. Nothing near what I was previously told and quoted. Once I saw he really wasn't taking advantage of me, I decided he would be my 'go to' repair guy from that day on. OMG I am so happy with him and I totally recommend him. I'll be saying more as he completes the projects I have in my home. He seems like he will be the go to guy for my mom too once he is done with her project.
