- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
The truth about "getting 3 bids". Many people have no idea where that concept came from. Many think that all contractors are the same. They also think that everything from the type of materials to the competency of the workers are all the same. That is as far from the truth as is the east is from the west. Our founder started working in the industry in 1981. In Texas and other states we work in, there are many governing bodies, your city's building and inspection department that determine what and how construction is performed. However when out of the city's jurisdictional boundary there seems to be little or no checks and balances for construction trades and so the quality of the work depends solely on what the Customer knows and what to watch for. We follow standard and state approved standards and construction practices according to the American Institute of Architects and United Building Code (UBC) when there is not a building authority. This practice ensures our continued level of high quality and standards regardless of who has jurisdiction over the project.
