    Promptness and courtesy were wonderful and follow through was appreciated. Unfortunately however my Mac problem was elusive and not addressed in the time spent. I finally figured it out myself. I have. Found that macs although almost fool proof when they do have issues many tech services are simply more familiar with pc's. I would highly recommend ML Geek if you have a PC. If you have a Mac I might suggest the Apple Store.

We are aware that you Mac was working with the solution provided by our company which was to create a new user profile and all the issues were no longer being reproduced after that solution was created. When the technician left, you and your wife were no longer experiencing random mouse movements or freezing which was the reason for this service request. Whether or not, you choose to continue using that solution is your prerogative. We always strive to provide the best in technical knowledge, quality, customer service and communication. As we go through the emails that were sent between our company and you, you have not shown any dissatisfaction. Had you communicated to us that you were dissatisfied with the solution, we would have taken different steps. So this review is a shock and we understand that credit should have been given to the solution provided.

    My Dell XPS27 hung up during a Windows update. ML Geek services diagnosed the problem, got Windows 8.1 running again and preserved the files that were on the computer before Windows 8.1 got corrupted. And they did this work just prior to Thanksgiving holiday. Mona was fast, courteous, and competent. Thank you for your outstanding service.

    Mona saved me !! pleasant, positive, and professional lady I met today. My Laptop screen was damaged after it falls down from my hand, I called many service center's in and around Dallas and I visited few service centers but everybody was asking for the minimum of three days time to repair it. Since it was my official laptop and I have some office work to finish I was looking for someone who can fix it by today itself and my search ended in "ML Geeks". When I called Mona she asked me for the laptop model and the problem and she said she will call me back once she confirms that she has the stock with her. I got a call from her after 10 minutes and she said that she has the screen which suits with my laptop and ask me to come over her office for repair. I should say, she has a good knowledge in what she is doing and she fixed everything within half an hour. I highly recommend this place for all your computer related problems.

    The service that I received was great. I dropped off my laptop and expected to wait several days for the removal of a virus. To my utter surprise she said it would be ready this afternoon. I believe that she is very knowledgeable as well as personable. I would recommend ML services very highly. Over the years I have had work done at several other businesses and never had service at this level.

    Lisa did an excellent job of recovering all my files from my old computer and transferring the hardrive to my new computer. My husband is VERY pleased with everything that Lisa did. Lisa was very professional and answered all my questions and even went the extra step to do a few extra things that I didn't even think about.     I needed my hinges replaced on my computer and it was going to be very expensive if Best Buy did it, so I called ML Geek Services and they were able to perform the work fast and effectively. When the first pass failed to produce the file types we expected, she took the drive back and spent several extra days trying alternative approaches, at no extra charge.     Thank you for your review, Sandeep. We need to clarify your review for our future customers. We have completed two jobs for Sandeep. The first one was to replace an overheated fan for which Sandeep had hired us via Thumbtack and we completed the job on 10/12/13. Sandeep was very happy with the service and the free pick up and delivery given. Recently, three months later, in January, Sandeep contacted us again as he needed a power supply adapter for his adapter. We clearly explained that replacement adapters are cheaper, start at $15.00 and the original HP Compaq chargers run from $30.00- $40.00. We need to check what we have in stock and then we would bring what we had. We had an original brand new charger in stock and we called the customer to set up a time to deliver it. Customer was given the price and the adapter when we arrived at the customer's place of residence so customer could test the laptop with the new adapter. This new original adapter was able to charge the battery which was the reason for replacement. Customer did not say that he thought the price was higher than quoted. Customer also did not tell our employee to take the adapter back. Customer paid for the adapter and again said that he was happy with the service provided. We requested customer to complete a review and only then read about the concerns about the adapter. All our customers have the right to refuse a product or service when presented it by our employees, kindly let us know so we can always provide a high level of quality and service.

    EXCEPTIONAL Service!! Really demonstrated great customer care right from the very start. My computer started smoking- they were able to locate the problem, order in the new fan (which was the only delay) and replace it very promptly. They kept me informed throughout the whole process and were incredible helpful with any questions that I had. Would certainly recommend them to friends.

    ML Geeks provided prompt responses in realtime to all my inquiries. I needed my internal standard DVD replaced with a BluRay DVD. the turn-around for install was withing 24 hrs. They took care driver updates, PowerDVD S/W and gave me face to face instruction on intrinsic video application. the service was very professional. i am already lining up other upgrades with them. satisfied returning customer.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typical process would be to interpret customer's issues into technical problems and then provide as estimate. The best way to get an accurate assessment is to let us look at the computer thoroughly first. In some cases like some hardware replacements, like LCD screens, hinges, etc, we can provide a quote over the phone. This may change if another hardware part is also broken on the inside which the customer may not be able to see right away.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Laptop screen replacement, motherboard components, fan replacement, Virus/malware removal, data backup and recovery, same day laptop screen replacement, dc jack repair,IT management services, network installation and repairs, web design and development, e commerce web design, PHP, JAVA, CSS.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Provide as many details as possible. If you are experiencing problems write down what error messages you are getting, error codes, any beeps, how many beeps, etc. Taking a picture of the problem will also help us a lot.
