Reviews for Fort Worth fixture installation professionals
Thumbtack Customer
This company was a pleasure to deal with, from my initial phone call to the installation of light fixtures the very next day. The electrician who did the work, Garret, was professional, courteous and efficient. Highly recommended all around.

Joe responded promptly, was able to start the job within 2 days which was great. He kept us updated on his (on time) arrival. After reviewing the job and provided a reasonable price then got right to work. He explained to us when he ran into a couple of issues and offered a workaround. Will use this company to install additional outside light fixtures soon.

TLDR: if you hire this company to install your fixtures, you better hope an accident doesn’t happen or else they won’t make the situation right. They’re very responsive until they’re not.
I originally hired HR Phoenix Electric through Thumbtack to hang 2 LED mirrors and a chandelier. They were incredibly responsive and were able to get me on the schedule immediately. Two technicians arrived and began installing my items. One of the items, a $650 backlit LED mirror, was dropped and damaged by the technician (probably because one tech just stood there and left the other guy to do everything himself). The gentleman was very apologetic and upset, and asked that I not mention this to the company because he’d be fired. He also explained that they’d make him pay for the mirror out of his own pocket, which he couldn’t afford to do because “they barely pay us anything”. We agreed he would come back and do some more electrical work for me for free when the replacement mirror arrived. I’m not a monster and don’t want someone to be fired because of an accident, so I was happy to agree to this.
I ordered a new mirror (which had to be paid for out of pocket due to the mirror being removed from packaging) and reached out to the tech on his personal phone. He was unreachable, so I decided to call the company to book him. They explained he no longer worked there but promised to have someone out immediately to hang some lights for me. At this point, I had not informed them of the situation & told them I’d call them back while I decided what day would be best, while I tried to continue reaching the technician. The company even called me the next day to ask my availability, clearly wanting my business.
When I finally decided to explain everything & asked them how we should all proceed with this situation, the woman who answers the phones (I believe her name is Heidi) was very apologetic and promised they’d make this right. She recommended I tell the owner, Paul, and gave me his personal cell number. When I called him, Paul did not seem very bothered by this situation, but promised they’d get someone out eventually. It’s been almost a month and after multiple attempts to get ahold of them, they are now ignoring my calls and texts (calling the office & Paul personally, who has read receipts on his texts so I know he’s seen the messages)—which is clearly uncharacteristic seeing as how well they communicated in the beginning.
They were very eager for my business, until they were faced with making a bad situation right. Accidents happen, but it’s how you handle them that speaks volumes, and clearly this company is more worried about their bottom line than customer experience.
