Didn’t get a chance to see how the work would be, but experience the professionalism and communication. I got a text, not a call, from this company, 32 minutes before expected arrival time, saying “Sorry, I had to go to Houston this weekend(Holiday weekend), due to a family emergency”. It’s not that he may not be telling the whole truth…just that, other than the confirmation of start/arrival time and buying the paint a few days prior. All I get is a text…to which I did respond, “what does that mean for the job?” and not getting a response in a professional amount of customer service time…I sent another text wishing his family well and stated we’ll move on to another painter. I typically don’t take the time to write reviews, good or bad, but my wife was pretty pissed and believe when I say, better me than her. Anyways, I wish them well, but an opportunity was missed for this company to do my entire interior of my house, by the way…I stated that to him during the site visit. I usually start with testing a smaller job and pay attention to detail before agreeing with larger and more financially lucrative ones. Not sure if some small business owners understand the value of repeat business, but if it was due to an emergency or bigger job…honest communication and professional customer service, goes a long way. I might have rescheduled and understood you had a bigger job. I’m in the customer service business myself.
