First time using Thumbtack to find a service provider and I couldn't be happier with the Team @ All Junked Up!!! Communication was outstanding, showed up EARLY, took special care of our furniture while moving, price point was perfect, and did the job I couldn't do. We used them to move an entire house of furniture and boxes to a new house. We also used them to pack some items. - What types of customers have you worked with?We have worked with so many different types of clients , some of them have been put in a difficult position after losing a loved one, others have had to put family members in specialty care, these are truly the most difficult and we definitely do not put speed and money over time. These removals require more time and patience, sometimes the client can only do so much before it becomes to emotional. I lost my first spouse in 2000, It is something I understand and can truly relate to. We then have our other type of clients who are just trying to clean up the yard or home. - Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?Our most recent project wasn't a bid we originally won. We had bid this job a $100 over the competition. Our client went with the lower bid. He tried to contact his junk removal contractor for two days and to no avail. Our client we will call him Bob called us up and said he would pay our quote and we scheduled a day for the work to be completed. One of the best parts of this is myself and Bob only met once for a short time, he could see the integrity we carry along with accountability and communication. That is such an awesome compliment. The job itself took us about three hours. We have been told we are usually always the highest bidder, what you get from us is integrity, accountability and us being bonded and insured to back that up along with great communication! If what you are looking for is a cheap half ass job we are not the company for you. What you get from us is 100% at each and every removal!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?My advice would be that there are some people who do this as a hobby and do not care where the debris from the removals are unloaded at. It costs to properly dispose of the debris at the landfills, I have seen people just dump it on a side street. I think you should find as much information as possible about the company. Are they bonded and insured? Do they have a website? Are they with the BBB. What do they do with items that can be donated? Does the customer get the write off receipt. Cheaper isn't always better. What kind of customer service do you get? Do they communicate with you? Do they clean up when they are done? These are some of the most important questions for me. I am paying for a service I expect great customer service and most important to me is communication. This is what we offer our customers.
