- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There's a flat price for my identity packages - this includes: branding strategy, logo development (3 concepts w/ 2 rounds of edits), conversion to all file formats in multiple sizes (and the instructions for how to use them), business cards (for up to 10 employees), letterhead design (cover + internal pages), Word template to match letterhead for electronic docs, envelopes, mailing label set-up. Will also arrange for/manage printing upon request. Flat rate for this is $845.for for-profits, $645 for non-profits. Discounts available for multiple projects contracted at the same time Other projects (brochures, ads, websites, etc) are custom-quoted on a case by case basis. For websites I only work in WordPress. Most sites range from $1650 to $1950 depending on what is needed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Start with a call or meeting to make sure I can help them. If all goes well and they accept the proposal - have an interview to determine needs/wants, provide a timeline for deliverables, present initial work for review, gather and incorporate any edits, provide final files. Follow-up to see if any future effort is needed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Have been in the industry since 1999. Started my first company in 2002, merged the company with an agency in 2006 but didn't care for the agency style of business model. Left to work in the non-profit sector as a director of marketing while I waiting out my non-compete. Launched my current company in 2010 and have a strong and loyal following of small to medium sized businesses in the Fort Worth area - some on project basis and others on ongoing retainer for all of their marketing and design work.
